Please explain

Hmm still need to explain ? Because ec pricing cheaper compared to private condo lah... 2nd timer quota for this EC already sold out, and this 2nd timer still got the 14k restrictions. If no 14k restrictions and anyone can buy, sure sold out lah.

OMG, any Sinkies with decent IQ would know why so many rules & restrictions are needed for new EC purchases or <10 years.

New ECs are easily 20-30% cheaper than new PCs.
How to find new condo projects now with $1k psf ?

The smart guy wanted to sell off his PC then get a new cheaper EC......
Nobody stops him to buy 5-10 units of resell EC /PC as long as he fits TLV /pays ABSD etc.

Pardon me but I don’t understand your point.

If anyone can buy any new ECs, PG would be gone in 1 hour.
If there be no citizenship criteria, the whole SG properties would have been sold to any Property buyers in the world. They do not even need SG jobs just to earn from flipping!

In such scenarios,

its either

EC getting more lousy
OR
BTO getting more fancy

North South line is the worst mrt line. Overly crowded and break down often. I will think twice buying condos along this line.

Its crowded for a reason, because it's well connected to most amenities and area of interest/work areas like financial hub.

He also forgot those amenities outside the unit.

Sinkies are smarter than that.
If they qualified for BTO but the more expensive ECs are the same or worse, yet they choose ECs need to have their heads scanned.

Haha which EC looks like BTO?
Then the EC is indeed a failure, since there’s no product differentiation

Definitely.
Most Woodlands people to using Thomson Line to city would bypass those in between as most are residential.
NS Line has Toa Payoh, Bishan, AMK.......
So are EW Line or NE Line.

Yup. Looking forward to the opening of it. Would have an alternative for woodlanders to get to circle line next year and when fully open, getting to city is not too bad.

Two route.

For now red line has improved tho. Frequency are better and if you take from Woodlands, the chances of getting a seat is high.

With Thomson line, it will disperse the crowd.

Definitely.

Any foreign qualified developer can join in the fun of bidding /building condo here.

It is the sale that's a lot of restrictions & levies, both foreigners & even the local.
The former buyers worse off.

Adding on, LTA is studying the possibility of another north south line.

Who knows, there might be MRT station along the Admiralty road west & Yishun Avenue 8 stretch.

Due to the upcoming population of Canberra wouldn’t be surprise if they add another station at the back once the Admiralty road west & Yishun Avenue 8 is connected. It’s all in the URA masterplan 2019.

BTO, EC, Pte condo....
It is all touch n go - to flip at some point of time!!!
As long as able to pay all the upfront $ and eligible,
just buy, heck care of how many people can be squeezed in under the roof nowadays.

Definitely mrt services have improved.

Woodlands people working in downtown may use Thomson.
Others working between Admiralty to Orchard Station are unlikely the users, so are those in
Spring Leaf but not working in downtown.

It is like the stretch of Downtown Line between Bukit Panjang and Bugis with mostly residential.

For now red line has improved tho. Frequency are better and if you take from Woodlands, the chances of getting a seat is high.

With Thomson line, it will disperse the crowd.
