I've just made payment to a few users here who signed up thru my referral.

The rewards they've gotten were $80 cash as well as a bonus of 40,000 MR points (equivalent to 25,000 KrisFlyer miles).

Do let me know if anyone of you would like to sign up and enjoy bonus 40,000 MR points + $80 cash offer.

Bad credit rating

Hi, i want to apply for AMEX Platinum(200k income) card but have 2 concern:
1)Credit rating FF
2)Self employed
3)currently hold no credit card at all

Income NOA 2019($133k)->think they look at this yr one only?
Income NOA 2018($199k)

Should i proceed to apply for the card? If high chance i cannot get through, i will avoid applying as it will reduce my credit rating further.

Yea. Most likely they will look at the NOA 2019 one. I know of someone whose credit rating is HH and income approx $150k also got approved.

I wonder why so many people crazy about this card and willing to pay $1700 for it.....is it really worth it?

I've had the card 3 months. These are my reasons so far:

$80 referral (someone on HWZ gave me a voucher for being referred by them)
75,000 signup bonus points - around 47k miles
40,000 referral bonus points - MRM programme (member refers member)
2 nights at Banyan Tree (I redeemed easily in Vietnam)
$400 hotel credit (very mafaan to redeem, used for boutique hotel in Italy)
Hertz status (booked a car rental in Italy with 15% discount)
Nice feel of metal card
Priority Pass membership (used several times already as I fly budget airlines a lot to local places)
Chillax programme (buy 1 free 1 cocktails at various bars)

Things I plan to use:

$400 flight credit
massage vouchers
1 night in W Sentosa
Love dining promo

Having said that, I am happy to have paid $1712 for the first year. The free hotel stays, the bonus miles and the hotel/flight credits are enough value for me. Everything else is a bonus. But on renewal, no free hotel stay, no bonus miles, so...

Overall, I wouldn't renew. I think too many places don't accept Amex and I prefer to keep my wallet as minimal as possible.

Hey, could you send me the details on the referral thing? I have received an invitation on this.

I have received the invite for the platinum charge card, but income is way below the 200k requirement.

Can I apply for the reserve card?

Can share more on the referral with me too. Thank you.

If u got invitation to apply from Amex for Platinum Charge, why will u wanna downgrade urself to Platinum Reserve?

The invitation from Amex is pre approved. They give you exception on income requirement. Just apply MTL!

To get both as Reserve has its own set of benefits too.

Pre invite will get me charge card more or less, but I’m unsure if it will get me the reserve card too.
