May I know whether we will get the 3D/2N stay and additional 2D/1N W hotel if the annual fee is pay once we got the card? Or the 2D/1N W hotel is only for after 2nd year of annual fee? Do we also get the Fraser stay if we apply for the reserve card and the annual fee is waiver off due to the charge card?

Yes, one annual fee policy. So you can apply and get the reserve card which comes with Fraser stay FOC

Yes u get both stays when annual fee paid for first year.
Second year onwards only the 2d/1n stay at w or St Regis
Yes u get the fraser stay when u apply for reserve card. Annual fee is waived as long as u pay for the plat charge card

A big trade off for the renewal. I think they will give users some points... But far from the value of the hotel rooms.

All the referrals... It's only for new amex customers apparently.... The current customers have another scheme that gives $180 capitaland vouchers for both. I think the value is equivalent.

Do you mean existing Amex card members will not get the 75k points sign up bonus?

75k rp are for all new charge card sign up. it's independent of referrals.

Referrals for non-amex card members, both get 40k if the new sign up hits $5k in 3 months.

Referrals for current amex members, both get $180 capitaland vouchers upon successful sign up. :)

Anyone can share how difficult it is to redeem the $400 hotel and airline credit? Are the rates more expensive than booking in other sites?

Airline wise similar price as other sites but missing budget airlines.

Hotel wise, similar or slightly more expensive than other sites but main problem is very limited selection.

If you travel very frequently then it's probably not difficult to redeem but it's pretty hard for me to redeem as I only travel occasionally and sometime budget airlines which is the only direct flight or mile redemption for biz class. I ended up using it for domestic flights in japan. Hotel wise I manage to find a decent hotel I wanted to stay in and its similar price as other sites. Amex seem to have their own supply of rooms as the hotel I book is fully booked on other sites including the hotel own website but I manage to book the room on Amex system. That's 1 good thing about Amex I guess.

Can someone point me to full T&C of the Plat Charge card insurance? I am navigating Amex website, but they must have hidden it somewhere :)
