But when will the sample phone come to SG for promotion? Then at least can decide if it's the phone worth getting, amongst many other flagships.

Usually 1-2 months before the launch will have a function for demo. Last one I attended is at Sony store for xz2.

I still remember when I collect the xz2p, someone from Sony jp actually came down to do survey about y I buy the phone.

Sony SG is a different business division from Sony Asia. That's why even the X1 came in 6 months after the rest of the world. I bought mine off Lazada months before Sony SG started surveying for interest.

So, don't keep your hopes too high.
