Note 9S seems to be a upgrade over the Note 8, maybe there will be a 9S Pro coming soon but probably rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.

Not sure why there's misconception everywhere that this is the Note 8 Pro successor, could be due to the odd Note 9S naming. It just isn't, it's the Note 8 successor, from that perspective then I feel it is an all round upgrade from that. Admittedly, the price seem a little high.

We will likely see a Note 9/9S Pro down the road, just that it is not announced at this point. I hope it is a much upgraded model and not India's 9 Pro Max since the upgrades from the 9S are minimal at best.

Exactly note 8 pro 6/128 was selling 335 (the price I bought) in the 1st week of availability, not is 270 (with coupon as Low as 250) with 720G comparable (only ever so slightly better) to G90T, without nfc.

I mean I understand it’s meant to be an upgrade of note 8 but you must see the price what they are doing are just arbitrarily renew but push up the price

Depends if you value the bigger battery, better processor and (slightly) better camera.

Accessories should be quite limited as of now as the phone was just announced very recently.

Not too sure if there's a pre-applied screen protector, but there will be a silicone casing along the phone for simple protection.
