That will depends on his usage and settings, cos usually task killers comes in if the phone has a lot of apps opened in the background while leaving unused and untouched in a lock screen and off screen state. For such situation lock the app so the easiest.

But for a person who only use the WhatsApp app and very few ie no other apps open in the background or a person (like myself) who is addicted to one handphone and keep touching it and waking it we seldom will encounter such issues.

My WhatsApp is working properly on k30 pro.I didn't even need to lock app. I only enable auto start. What's your play store version and device certified?

Even I killed/cleared all the apps, my phone still can receive WhatsApp message without opening the app or running in the background/memory.

Yes. For the umpteen times.
Flashing to global rom for China set definitely need to unlock bootloader.

Poco F2 Pro just got their miui 12 global rom update.
I wonder if we can flash it on K30 pro.

I did. Poco f2 pro(global rom) is compatible with k30 pro.
It is running fine but cts failed and device is not certified as expected. Anyone successful install magisk ?

You using poco f2 rom (global)?
Im on CN rom and have to leave whatsapp in backgrd in order to be able to rcv immediately.
Probably thats the reason why u r able to do so?
