I think beat is too strong a word. Maybe contain covid is more appropriate. It is the same with other asian countries who contain covid but to say beat covid is not quite possible. Even world record Taiwan is still exporting to other countries

Anyway the war against Covid is still ongoing, countries who do well now does not mean they do well in the coming months

First, Has PRC beat the virus? Reports of it popping up still occurs.
Second, Even if you accept CCP's reported numbers, it did not beat the virus "easily". It has sealed a city of 10millions to "stop" the virus. Many other cities, counties are sealed to "beat" the virus. Countless PRCs have to suffer to enable this "victory". The impact to its economy and reputation is huge. Compare the before and after of the world's perception of PRC. It went south.
Third, You limit the comparison to US + Europe only. Other countries exist. For example, ROC went many days without new cases. New Zealand have very few cases too. Japan has declining numbers too. Even Singapore seems to have "turned the corner".

One clear evidence that China has indeed beat the virus is that during the long National day holidays in Octobers, inter states travel is allowed and has recovered by 70%. If it is not under control, their gov won't have allowed interstate travel. If it is not under control, recovering of 70% interstate travel will cause the virus to spread out of control as a result.

Going by your logic, US also allowed interstates travel. Therefore, US covid-19 is under control, right?

But I have much greater confidence that countries like China, New Zealand, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore will continue to do way better than US and Europe. Especially if Trump wins the election - it will be game over for the US in its fight against COVID-19 for the next 4 years.

Let's hope that Americans are willing to take the vaccine when it becomes available. As it is, you already have folks over there who believe in all sorts of conspiracy theories about vaccines, how dangerous they are etc. And isn't COVID-19 a hoax to begin with, perpetuated by the fake news media?

Those are the types of attitudes that the US authorities will have to contend with. Not to mention the likely high cost of vaccination (which is typical of the US medical system) if you have no insurance and if the government does not subsidise. Also not sure to what extent or how long it would take for vaccines to be made available to the poorer and uninsured segments of their population, even if they want it.
