sorry, noob here. there's a timeframe for dividend payout after launch of etf? half a year? i read it says quarterly payout, so i thought there would be one in January.
Yes quarterly. Commence 3 mths after listing. Listed on 23 Nov 2021. So won't be earlier than 23 Feb 2022. Subject to their discretion.

https://www.uobam.com.sg/uobam/sustainability/solutions/uob-apac-green-reit-etf.page
The current distribution policy is to make quarterly distributions of up to 4% per annum (or such other frequency or percentage as we may from time to time determine) of the initial issue price of the SGD Class Units or of the NAV per unit of the SGD Class Units as at such date as we may from time to time determine.

Distributions will commence only after a period of three months following the inception of the SGD Class Units (or at such other time as we may determine at our discretion).

Distributions may be made out of income, capital gains and/or capital. The declaration or payment of distributions (whether out of capital or otherwise) may have the effect of lowering the NAV of the relevant Sub-Fund or Class. Moreover, distributions out of capital may amount to a reduction of part of your original investment and may result in reduced future returns.

usually if they say quarterly they will stick to it.
no point giving investor false hope.
discretion is just a insurance clause for them.

Noted on your points but isnt reits to hedge against inflation??!! Why the sell off then?

If u ask me nothing is able to hedge against it, nothing! Not energy , not reits
Maybe some potentially good penny stks? W low capital needed in their investment

Is reits high-capital intensive!?

Many said the traditionals which dealt w i/r is best against inflatn ie banks

For me, this etf is not abt Reits, i m buying it is cos i believe in Green, esg, sdg related matters….not so much of reits and it is not even Spore-heavily focused… i wanna something to be more at apac or jp too
I been aiming the good fund: janushenderson global property (got an apac fund too ) but not Green-related hence this Grn came as a closest to my needs

the price down a lot this week
USA side = tonga underwater volcano explosion with their interest rate hikes and stuff, so everywhere also affected. it will be rough and choppy seas until middle of the year probably.

It’s because of Australia.. Omnicron wave.
Good opportunity to slowly add into this. should recover once situation improves

Mapletree Industrial Trust
Mapletree Commercial Trust
Keppel REIT
Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust
Suntec Real Estate Investment Trust

BB yes! Big w brains mean something to me…
