that’s around 1% base on current price.. which is following their 4% target dividend pay out policy

I can easily speculate first yr only will have 3x dividend payout! Eg the next ex date will b eg mid july -1aug (who is naively thinking it will be Exactly 3mths later) , and the last 1nov-mid nov period (ie exactly 1yr after iop)
And it is not a must to pay 4%

furthermore it is not div, it is capital payout

this etf is not even 1 w Reits that pay out on average 4%++
in fact lower than 3%

Already have one mutual fund that is all mainly REIT and pay dividends monthly. Was thinking to get ETF also but now see quite low payout. Mutual fund expense ratio maybe higher but the higher payout compensate and after deduct still win. Heng ah never buy this REIT ETF

we got this cos we r into Green/ESG/SDG, not so much of into its Dividends, esp if it is capital distribution :(

and there r plenty of funds tht pays mthly : We dont need this Green ETF to pay us @ all
anything that pays less than 5%++ forget it man
& i dont think the Reit mutual fund u mentioned consistently pays MORE than 5% ( will be even drastically reduced due to all its cost/expense ratio etc)

no income distribution :s11:
what is capital distribution?
u bought this etf?

do u guys really mind the diffce? i think i wont be at all surprised if there r some writing in to keep pressurizing them for the Payouts! and some can assume quarterly payout means it Must be 4 times per yr...

Capital distribution is a payment by a mutual fund or an exchange-traded fund (ETF) of a portion of the proceeds from the fund's sales of stocks and other assets from within its portfolio. It is the investor's pro-rata share of the proceeds from the fund's transactions.

https://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/capitalgainsdistribution.aspthis is is also why for Reits and stks , not all r dividends payout some r not
eg mapletree Logs on the day of payment: u recdan amt but u will notice that the amount is made of capital and divs issued
to know the cap amount : here
https://links.sgx.com/1.0.0/corpora...a575c9161e72f9e9d0bb114c608de686e1e513b70f7deThe div issued? : clicked on div https://www.sgx.com/securities/equities/M44U
why separate cos they r not the same

read also "ETF/ Mutual funds will pay distributions. This occurs when the fund sells stocks and earns capital gains. Many choose to pass these through in the form of cash payouts to shareholders. "
> this sttm may seem netural or good.... to Income-oriented investors like some here! but to me, in our case of Green reits , they r made to sell ......What kind of capital gains there r in this situation and the Price is obviously below IPO

What s the rush to pay divs? All the capital shd be save to make MORE purchases (since it is Low in March) instead

Mid Jan i mentioned:

oh
to me it is nt guaranteed!

Distributions are not guaranteed. (or such other frequency or percentage as we may from time to time determine) of the initial issue price of the SGD Class Units or of the NAV per unit of the SGD Class Units as at such date as we may from time to time determine.

some instantly replied me that no point giving false hope to Investors!
issuing distributions not at an adv point is blindly creating false hope to Investors...when it is not time to sell , why do it?

This is old news. Data centre open for application in 2022 but with conditions.

https://www.businesstimes.com.sg/co...-higher-standards-when-moratorium-lifts-in-q2
yes,thanks for digging it out!

this applied when moratorium lifts in Q2 2022

Stil,
the new data centres will need to have a power usage effectiveness (PUE= amount of power consumed by a data centre, divided by the amount of power used to operate the IT equipment in the data centre. A lower value represents higher efficiency.) of 1.3 and below and Applicants will also need to include their innovation and sustainability solutions.
Most imptly , the government will continue to evaluate its policies towards new data centres.

Keppel (such an established and reputable name) DC and all data centres WIll never get to b in this Green reit! ie most imptly! So glad that it is never greenwashed! that is to me of paramount!

Which fund ?
You use FSM fund selector and type keyword REIT under name and suggestions come out. It is not exactly a Spore centric REIT more of a Asia Pacific REIT. Janus Henderson have quite a few REIT related like US,Europe,Asia etc can take a look too. What I like for them is monthly dividend. SGX ETF quarterly dividend make me wait until flowers wilt. Guess I am used to monthly dividend from mutual fund now.

I know my post may make ppl angry but nowadays many new esg, green, sustainable etc theme stocks,ETF,mutual fund etc. But to some ppl like me don't really care we care more on put X dollars can earn monies or not. It is that simple.

Fashion fads come and go some stay some slowly disappear so why get too obsessed with it? Only time we get obsessed is can make good monies period.
