Moi simple hor fun dinner... kym?

chiu 8 dola for 2 pax moi that day post moi de hofun also about that price. moi no need use gas and time to cook because mo go buy outside. :ROFLMAO:

sometime that ish the headache buy or cook? moi still think caipeng ish best and cheapest
Actually at home cook is really cook for family of 4pax and above then will see some meaningful cash savings compared to eating outside.

For one pax, mostly just buy outside is cheaper infact if take into account 1 hour to prepare and cook the meal and wash up later

moi ended up need $8 mainly cos bought threadfin & grouper fish...
outside usually is use snakehead fish which is abt half the price wor...

ok la. but moi ish poor de ma. so moi can't afford buy expensive fishy de. moi ish buy those left overs de fish from shengsiong cheap cheap

yalo. still must use water jialat and detergent jialat. all need monies de. so buy caipeng most easy. jiak and throw no need wash.

For me 250 gram of hor fan, I use 10 grams dark soy sauce, 7 grams light soy sauce. You can try it out

Moi last try at horfun. Also u need to make ur own pickled green chilli, very easy only, just white vinegar, sugar, salt, blanched green chilli.

If boil soup like ginseng chicken etc, I will use either pressure cooker or slow cooker to cook 4 person share.
2 sharing on normal fridge n 2 on freezer.
Cheaper n more than outside soup stall

Good then, haha snakehead very fishy, I using snakehead.

Wonder can use batang or not

at first i mostly use snakehead for porridge then tried batang...
both still ok la but if really wanna have better texture & taste i still like using threadfin or grouper...
else snapper if don't wanna spend too much...

yup i managed to get quite good price buying those reduced to clear for some of the fish as well...
quite worth it but best to cook and clear within the day...

The horfun can put dark soy sauce, then stirfried in a hot pan until the soy sauce cameralize for the wokhey
Last time all the hor fun use those big pieces, the cook will stir fry to brown them. Very fragrant.
Now hor fun is use normal white kuay teow, just pour the liao and chap over the white kuay teow. Not nice de :(
