Can ping me if need, but he is now a home based contractor, no longer has a showroom. only if you're comfortable.

As for hacking away storeroom, advise you keep it. I was tempted also but I left it, I just overhauled the whole place from pipes to wires and all tiles/windows/doors/gate.
Hihi, can ping me the contact also?

Was lucky to come across this pretty steady contractor, father has his own carpentry business so for whole unit projects, he usually does it. More contractor style so don’t expect the usual “ID type of works” for example 3D, mood boards etc.

The price for our 4rm bto which included vinyl flooring from floorxpert, sintered stone kitchentop, carpentry for top/btm cabinets, redoing of both toilets and master wardrobe with glass doors. All in was around $40+k which for the materials used, did seem like a pretty good bargain.

I'm also looking for a contractor for my 3rm resale. Can pm contact for contractors?

I was googling around for reno packages, and there were quite many of them advertising in their websites, carousell, facebook etc. But not easy to sieve out which one to shortlist to speak to. Any tips on selecting contractor or ID?

Those who spend so much time advertising, where got time to do your house?

Especially those at road shows, etc... they will be swarmed to the neck. Look for referrals via friends, those who have renovated and can recommend theirs. Mine all from friends.

ID1 - Friend's condo - quite nicely done

ID2 - Car group friend's HDB - didn't see but he recommend based on speed/delivery and warranty.

ID3 - Car group friend's HDB - didn't see but he recommend, didn't meet cos he forgot appt, then I forget it.

ID4 - Friend's 2room BTO @ Yishun - i saw and quite like the design.

ID5 - Car group friend's HDB - didn't see but average sized ID, even my housing agent heard of them, so just look see look see.

Those use before, live long around the market, no need heavy advertising, you can consider. Those with so much advertising probably interested in big fishes who can spend. I'm not saying you can't spend, but if they can't add yours to their portfolio, they might not be keen. Also they might have attitude as well.
