if just buy $100, i rather not waste time investing to get peanuts.

yes $50k is not much

SDIC already covers $75k, so u can invest $75k for each different platforms.
$100 is to test water on a new investment instrument. Once you get familiar and confident then you slowly increase your investment stake. It is not $100 and that's it. DCA will tell us every time $100 instead of a lump sum will get better average buy in price over a time period.

I dabble in many different investment instruments. $100 for endowment and FD can find? I know FD lowest is ICBC at $500. $100 for endowment possible if you go for monthly payment instead of say annual payment but monthly payment x 12 much more than annual payment.

I called hotline they just said still processing need to Q. I asked them why some received immediate but mine pending so many days, hotline no answer. worst is policy date will be issue date so depending on when they issue, eat so many days interest 😡😡😡

Anyone had similar experience? Hotline keeps saying need processing time so. It immediate

Yesterday applied and money deducted, but also received sms from Manulife saying "pending review".

Guessing those approved immediately are much younger? lol

My this year previous DBS Manulife was pretty fast and I am in the age range 50 - 55. I believe somewhere in the backend there are checks just like credit card checks? Have you made any claims before with other insurers?

That is why got English word generation gap mah. You all can ignore me so no need to bother about me disturb your posts mah. This is a good feature.
Nope. I purposely don't want to "ignore" coz I want your posts to remind me not to transform into such kind of bitter person when Im your age.

any idea if it's limited to any particular saving account ? i am trying to figure out how to apply. once we deposit the 10% into saving account, the FD rate of 3.9% will auto apply ? thanks !
suggest you go to the bank counter to perform the placement, you will have much clearer pic as it is not the straight forward direct FD

Anyone applied this ?

5.25%

Retailer get any ?

https://www.businesstimes.com.sg/co...petual-capital-securities-first-callable-2028

This deal has an order book of more than S$2.1 billion, across more than 62 accounts, representing 2.5 times oversubscription, which UOB said is a “a display of a well-diversified investor base and granular order book”.

The majority of, or 85 per cent of the notes were allocated to private banks/securities houses; fund managers/insurance took 13 per cent; while banks/hedge funds/corporates took 2 per cent,

OCBC, DBS will have this ?
How to apply for this

How to apply for this
Did you read the BT artcile which you attached? Once you digest, you would know that this is not for retail :)

Issue size $850 million
Application - 2.5 times oversubscribed across at least 62 accounts
I assume allocation of $850 million accross 62 accounts (min number) - each account will be allocated ave $13.7 million.

article aslso state
85% to private banks/securities house
13% - fund managers/ insurance
2% - banks/hedge funds/corporates
