Hi guys. My $39.90 2yr MR contract is ending next month. Can I downgrade the speed to 200mbps after that ? Will Mr charge me anything ?

It works, after activating my static IP, i immediately switch to dual wan. My 2nd WAN start to lease in 24hr instead of 10mins.

I'm thinking of using the Omada ER605 router + 1 static IP.

He is using Asus RT-AX86U (initially with Singtel 1+1, and later MR 2 Gbps plan).

I tend to think Qomada ER605 is not a very good choice as it does not have 2.5G LAN port.

The better choice is probably mini PCs with two or more 2.5G ports, then you can run pfSense or OPNsense or OpenWRT. They are better than the Asus for Dual WAN Load Balancing.

Modem stuck on AUTH status light blinking constantly.
Called MR and no known outages, power cycle done too.
Down since 1933hr as I was disconnected from WhatsApp call..

Recently kept having spikes/hangs when playing games (Apex), modem cannot possibly be down since it was a new replacment earlier this year...

I do not think it is the right choice but you can try it.

I do not see LAN side aggregation mentioned in the feature of ER605. The spec is pretty low as well (128MB RAM and 16MB Flash, and it is said that the CPU is low end MT7621AT). I understand that the cost is low (below S$100) but I just feel it is not the right router for dual 1Gbps plan.

just got my MR 10Gbps installed today... tested by the techinian at ONT was 8000+mbps...

but when connected to TP AXE300 router... only get 3300 DL, 290 UL....
pull a direct CAT 6 cable (15m) from ONT to router... also same..

what went wrong? TP link router issue?

If you head over to the New 10Gbps Plan thread, you'll see a lot of bros also have the same issue. Same thing happened to me right after installation. But the speeds seemed to stabilise a week or so after that around 8.2-8.4Gbps u/l and d/l. XGS-PON plan tend to have more overhead so won't be able to get 9Gbps or higher.

smh, MR being unstable this month man. ONT keep getting red light everyday at least 3 day. only power cycle will fix the issue. Call tech support hotline, they damn power. Can hold the ****ing line more than 1 hour

I subscribed to MyRepublic 1Gbps plan a few days ago and i keep noticing that the internet disconnects something like every 15 minutes.

Error message in Chrome:

No Internet
- Try Checking the network cables, modem and router.
- Reconnecting to Wi-Fi.

ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED.

I learnt that if you hit refresh or just wait 10 seconds, internet connection will come back again.

Connection is from Nokia ONT -> TP-Link EX510 WiFi-6 Router -> Apple Studio using wired LAN cable.

It is especially irritating on MeWatch which totally kicks you out and you got to reclick again, only to get kicked out after a while.

Anyone got the same issues and know how to resolve?

Web version of douyin and taobao taking a long time to load on desktop. Am on MyRepublic 10gbps. Tested with Singtel broadband no speed issue. Any workaround with MR?

Got try using another DNS server (Cloudflare/Google/Quad9/etc)?

That the same issue i am encountering, Your ONT is red lighting and resetting itself.
Please call the tech hotline and report, i already reported. Need more ppl report so they will start to think it's their issue.

Kept trying to push blame to router or to netlink trust ****...
