I tried to re-contract with this ultraSpeed, although it clearly stated 1st TV Pro+ free, when I reach the final page, the price of TV Pro+ $15.xx is added to the $87.xx = $103xx. Did I miss something?

Could it be the 1st unit is only free for new sign up? Like to ask other existing SH user recon to ultraspeed. $15xx for 24 month = >$360 is way overprice,
Maybe you can go down to check with SH, for me I don't have any box rental now, so it's straightforward for me, the TV+ Pro box is included in the monthly charge. Also as I currently have the Premier+ and Sports+, the bundle allows me to cease my current contract and combine with the new contract.

I did, waiting for them to call back.
Call them early in the morning when they just open will be easy to get them. You tell them what you want properly, any thing they screwed up, they answer. You DIY wrongly you answer yourself so users should never DIY.

Hi Henry, I was referring to the Starhub tv box so my mum can watch the starhub tv packages. So I presume any android box will do as long as it support starhub tv app?

This is definitely a good deal with EPL coupled in it. The price of EPL is just going to rise so locking it down make sense.
Currently I'm using Chromecast with Google TV, and yes it works with StarHub TV+. You could also find other Android box, but the main reason I'm using that is because of decent specs.

Once you download the StarHub app, enter your account credentials and good to go liao:s12:

I'm actually paying more for the HomeHub 1Gbps+fibreTV with lesser channels! Will probably and finally let go of the fibreTV after years, didn't take up the IPTV cause of horror feedback by users.

Thanks for the info Xiaofan. (y)
No this is not true, the new TV+ is very good and got lots of channels and cheaper too. Must try then you know and can not just hear what others say only. Some people a bit of issue say like big issue.

If user is using Android TV set then nothing else needed and just watch from the starhub app on the TV. For cable TV still need the box regardless what TV it is. The new TV+ allow user to do away with the TV box if user using Android TV. Now more users are using Android TV.

Just went to sign up with SH for the Homehub bundle. Although can't fully utilise it, but just sign up simply it's cheaper than what i'm paying now. Can add additional nokia mesh router for $3 per month up to 2 units. I added one mesh router in case the ONR unable to provide sufficient wifi coverage.

Current
- Singtel 1Gbps - $40
- Sports+ - $25
- Premier+ - $20
- Netflix Premium - $22

Total: $107 per month

New
- Starhub 10Gbps
- Sports+
- Premier+
- Netflix Premium
- Disney+ Standard
- Entertainment+
- Asian+ with Viu Premium
- TV+ Pro
- Additional Mesh Router ($3 per month)

Total: $90.96 per month
Hi, any reason for adding the +$3? Im am thinking if i should though

I had the same problem, i suspect you sort of added +1 to the TV Pro+, i think you need not do that, but it's better to call in to sign up, they chop chop damn fast one. Then again i cant say for certain cuz ur a recontracting customer. :)

I think he added one more box. Call 1630 earlier and it will be done nicely. Actually TV+ is better than cable TV. It allows user to have a second TV without extra charge from Starhub. It support 4k UHD. More new channels and user got a few free Apps to play with like Netflix Premium, Disney+ and lots of TV contents. Can watch outside our home within Singapore. Some App like Netflix can watch while I am overseas on holidays. Better than Cable TV.

don't have liao. i don't know why they never cater for Singapore market.

i bought it from Shopee and it's an export set.
With this Google TV you also can sign up TV+ as they allow anyone to sign up even those without their Starhub internet. Actually I am waiting for it to come to Sg. Just Netflix Premium, Premier+ and Disney+ Premium if sign up outside myself already quite expensive.

The more i read about TV+ Box and TV+ Pro, the more confused I get LOL! So Pro need not 'tie to' Box?

Is that what you meant by 'a second TV'?

Starhub TV+ is the app or subscription. You can run the app on your mobile phone or official Android TV OS devices.

Starhub TV+ Box and Starhub TV Pro Box are the Android TV boxes provided by Starhub.

You do not really need the two boxes provided by Starhub now in order to enjoy Starhub TV+ contents on the big screen, just install Starhub TV+ app on official Android TV OS devices, for example, Xiaomi TV Box S Gen 2, Google Chromecast with Google TV, Nvidia Shield TV box, Sony Android TV, etc.

I added just as a precaution in case the ONR is unable to provide sufficient Wifi coverage for entire house. Since it's just additional $3 just add on for peace of mind.
