My HFE application in Oct 2023 took more than a month to processed. So it's good to apply early. Btw, the HFE letter is now valid for 9 months from date of issue.

What i suggestion is for BTO, HFE is after the sale launch than start apply, let the applicate 1 week period to apply HFE, if they never done so, should void their application, i dont mind the result take 3 4 mths since the BTO also must wait 4 5 years. If gov 1 2 check their salary, is use the cpf statement instead payslip...

Applicants can just follow HDB instructions to apply HFE in advance for their interested BTOs. Sufficient BTOs information are already released before actual BTO application start.

HFE last for 9 months. The applicant just need to have a valid HFE during application. It does not matter whether HFE has expired before applicant is called up flat selection. The applicant can still book for unit even HFE has expired.

3-6 months before unit selection starts.
It is a long BTO process. It will take 1 year+ to clear all the q number for previous BTOs (Now it is probably shorter due lower application rate).
Follow by signing lease agreement. It take around 2 years from applying till signing lease agreement.

It varies among BTOs. Unable to provide an estimate good enough for any planning purpose.

I believe the foundation works are already in progress for some but not all the projects as stated in the above website. I have visited the site behind Petir Park 2 weeks ago but saw only 2 tents with some equipment lying on the field and nobody was around.

Foundation works start about 6 months after applications close. I think serengoon still grass field

This project was already spotted by someone way before this BTO. There is the reason why the current BTO model was adopted. Last time HDB were also built first in excess. HDB could not offload them.

Canot all start.. maybe test water..many projects ongoing..busy..maybe some completed ahead of time..then straight away can start next project..aiya many reasons we don't know de..can start early or delay as it wishes..
