10s to post is if you are lucky. My Asrock takes exactly 20s to post with XMP profile
just built a 7500f system with 2x 16gb 6400mhz ddr5 and with some tweaking, can get it to post (reach msi logo) in around 8s and enter fresh windows install in under 15s consistently with latest bios and expo enabled. but wah before tweaking really take its own sweet time, more than 2min to post. not sure if asrock exposes similar settings in bios but can research abit.
Hi Experts, Kindly let me know which is the best specs for 1080P gaming and value for money.

i have found 2 specs from Invaderpc and Aftershock.

not sure which one to go.

i would go invaderpc for this one for the slightly less sus psu, better ssd and a dual fan gpu. it is also very slightly cheaper and u get individual parts warranty which can be longer than the blanket 3y that aftershock provides (ram and ssd for eg). with that $9 saving, recommend u top up $20 (so just $11 more than aftershock) for the cooler master mwe v2 bronze 650w which is a known ok psu with a longer 5y warranty too.

memory context restore will allow mb to post faster after memory training.

It's already enable for my Asrock B650e pg itx, it already on the latest BIOS, before that with stock BIOS it can take upwards of 30s to post.

Guess you are lucky, I know MSI ITX board takes ard 20s to post also.

The only itx board I know so far can post ard 10s is Asus B650e-i

theres an additional setting called power down enable that seems related to but is not memory context restore.

Hi guys, i retrofitted a new parts into an older Aftershock PC case. I got a question about fans.

I just ordered 3 Taobao fans, i think they were Thermaltake (or Thermalright, I couldn't remember)

Question, for the fan placement - assuming if I want to install them on the top, what would be the recommended air direction? Blowing into the case, or out of the case?

i saw on carou for 310 sgd so this one can buy?
yep.

imo u want positive pressure (more intake than exhaust) so dust doesnt get sucked into the case, though others may disagree. the top is generally for exhaust, though i would put just 1 exhaust at the left slot closer to the rear fan instead of populating both slots.

i don't have my 3700x videos right now.. cause it's on my previous nvme.
but right now, i on 5800x3d, i'm pushing 600fps at battle arena (no one around) on lowest settings.
I recalled it's 200fps on my 3700x but i need to pull out the video recording on my old nvme before i can post any proofs..

This one is taken on my farming char at my farm.

This is the Battle Arena video I clipped from my stream.

Hello, Need some advise as I am building a new rig for normal usage and minimum gaming to replace my 9 years desktop which recently got problem (suspect MB/PSU (Trip my house electricity) ). I have conducted some minor research and incline for the following:

INTEL i5 13400F + ASUS TUF GAMING B760M-PLUS WIFI D5
Asus Dual RTX4060 O8GB Twin Fan GDDR6
CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz CL36 32GB
Corsair RM650-650W Gold Full Modular PSU
Western Digital SN570 NVMe Internal SSD 1 TB
Western Digital Black 7200RPM 2TB

I need some advise on the following:

Do I need a CPU Cooler?
Is the PSU sufficient?
Anywhere I can reduce the cost?

I am more brand oriented (Intel over AMD, ASUS for MB and GPU, Corsair for RAM/PSU and WD for Storage)

update: i bought a nvme reader and it arrived yesterday night.
i managed to see that video recorded at battle arena (on 3700x), fps is about 200 to 240 fps.
will post more evidence over the weekend.

require bang for buck PC suggestion for my dad, just youtube and internet browsing

1. better to go with those challenger all-in-ones?
2. low-entry build recommendations

I am more brand oriented (Intel over AMD, ASUS for MB and GPU, Corsair for RAM/PSU and WD for Storage)
u can reduce the cost by not being brand oriented.
for daily use and light gaming, a ryzen 5 5600 will do the job just as well as a 13400 for about half the price (u can get a much faster ryzen 5 7500f with b650m mobo for about the same price if not cheaper than the combo u mentioned), and asus is usually one of the more expensive gpu aib partners. u can also get much more value from non corsair psus and ram (vengeance ram is notorious for being less stable than other manufacturers as their memory chips is chapalang one). lets build ur proposed pc:
core i5 13400 + asus tuf gaming b760m plus wifi d5bizgram
dynacore (for 13400f)
603
486
corsair vengeance 2x 16gb 6000c36dynacore165
wd blue sn570 1tbtradepac75
wd black 2tb 7200rpmvii pc175
asus dual rtx 4060 ocvii pc483
corsair rm650dynacore141
which is $1642 for 13400 and $1526 for 13400f.

personally id go either of these:
ryzen 5 5600 + asrock b550m wifi se OR
ryzen 5 7500f + msi pro b650m-a wifi
tradepac
pckaki
287
475
as mentioned above
neo forza mars rgb 2x 16gb 3600c18 (am4) OR
adata xpg lancer rgb 2x 16gb 6000c30 (am5)
dynacore
tradepac
107
170
(ddr5) lower latency ram than
vengeance, comes with rgb, less
than $10 more
wd blue sn570 1tbtradepac75
wd black 2tb 7200rpmvii pc175
powercolor rx 7600dynacore405same performance as 4060 for a lot
less money
adata xpg core reactor 750wpckaki118more power for less, still high quality
that makes a total of $1167 for am4 and $1418 for am5. this is more than $100 savings for a faster am5 system, or almost $400 in the case of a functionally identical am4 one. those intel prices are also enough to buy a prebuilt 7500f + 4070/7800xt from invaderpc or aftershock (~$1.5k), which will be much faster and will likely last longer than the intel system.

however, if u are insistent on these brands, u cant really cut the prices much anymore as many of the models u shortlisted are close to if not already entry level for those brands so u will have to hunt around stores for the best price. u can maybe cut the mobo down to a h610 or b760 prime, but i dont think the savings is worth the way inferior quality, same with psu. or u can go for used parts if ur open to that.
Do I need a CPU Cooler?
not really, the 13400 comes with a box cooler so for general use and light gaming it should be enough. it may get loud in intensive workloads, so if u find it loud after building ur pc u can consider a 3rd party cooler.
Is the PSU sufficient?
yes.
require bang for buck PC suggestion for my dad, just youtube and internet browsing

1. better to go with those challenger all-in-ones?
2. low-entry build recommendations
1. if theyre less than $500 then can consider. u can list some models too and we can help evauluate.
2. see first post. personally will go with the 5600g build as it is significantly faster and better equipped for not much more money.
anyone know where i can get corsair dominator titanium ddr5 in singapore?
not seeing any shop carry it, likely will need to import.
Moderators can you help me delete my 2 posts? Thanks.
u should be able to delete ur own posts, theres a delete button beside the report and edit buttons.

Found it. Same unit number ten years ago. He never moved for more than ten years. Amazing. Unbelievable. Sorry for the disturbance due to my anxiety and panic. Moderators can you help me delete my 2 posts? Thanks.

I saw his name on the glass door when I bought my PC from SLS last month

Hi AMD users. For each 5000+ groups, there are 3 items : Without suffix, Suffix G and suffix X.

Difference between 5600 and 5600G is G stand for graphic. What does this G exactly mean? Basic graphic or more powderful graphics? If it is basic graphics, does it mean that if we buy 5600, then we must separately install a graphic card? I am not a gamer and I only watch live streaming of china stations, youtube and dramas. But I watch a multiple streaming and youtube videos simulataneously I am using intel 3330 was sufficient for my needs without additional graphic card, but now it become old and retarded, so i am contemplating Ryzen.

So 5600X means more powderful than 5600? What about its grahics? Have or don't have?

G means integrated graphics (igpu)
From the 5000 series, only those with suffix -G have igpu, those without -G, need to install a separate graphics card
X is basically a slightly higher clock version of the normal suffix-less version, you can see a small 3-5% performance increase in benchmarks, but in real-world, you wont ever feel it

For your usage, -G is definitely your best bet, since you are not gaming, so you dont need a separate powerful gpu, just the basic display from the -G igpu is more than enough

Alternatively, if you can push for higher budget, can consider AM5 rather than AM4, yes for your usage, AM4 will more than suffice, but the platform is already 6-7yrs at this point, and for new AMD rigs, I highly recommend the new AM5 now.

to add on, all am5 cpus except -f (eg 7500f) have igpu too, so u dont have to worry as much about getting the right cpu. that said, am5 is significantly more expensive than am4, a basic 7600 + mb is easily double a 4600g combo before considering the jump from ddr4 to ddr5.

for the price of that 14600k + mobo, i would go for a ryzen 7 7700 combo instead. if ur open to sourcing from other shops, u can get the adata xpg core reactor which is a known good unit for a similar if not lower price and 3 more years of warranty from pckaki/perf pc, and u can get the cooler from pc themes for a very slightly cheaper price too.
