nope coz the price will too far off.... it would cost maybe 700-800 no point ma
Just kidding...they won't be able to sell defective ad104 at $7xx. The current cheapest 4070 non super is already $775. NVIDIA would have to sell it at $6xx for it to make sense. I think they will slowly clear 4060 8gb and let the 16gb take over. And 4070 non super hopefully will drop to it's rightful price tier.

not possible coz its nvidia...... the 2060 and 3060 is already priced madly, now 4060... so would have to wait for 5060...

nope i am good with 12gb of ram with 512 or 256 wide bus so 4060 super
no modern desktop gpu has a 512bit bus, both 4090 and 7900xtx max out at 384bit. 256bit can only have 4gb, 8gb, 16gb vram capacities (ie powers of 2). 12gb vram is usually on a 192bit bus. anyway, it seems this super refresh was more to help sales of ad103 and ad104, which seem to be the worse selling ones of this gen, so im not optimistic of a 4060super.

video editing u should get the non f. 14600k is generally about 90% of the performance of the 14700k in adobe video and photo editing apps, so depends on how much u are willing to spend; personally i would go for the 14700k unless the total cost of the system with the 14600k is more than 10% cheaper. the arctic liquid freezer ii is generally better for a cheaper price if u dont need the lcd of the kraken elite. i would also opt for the adata xpg core reactor 750w, which can be had for around $120 - u dont need 850w. finally, i wouldnt add any more fans to the h6 flow, the airflow is already pretty good on its own.
Beautiful white GPU, slim enough to fit mATX cases and mobo

matx never had an issue with fitting thick gpus, since they have 4 pcie slots. mitx is the one that can benefit.

7600xt okay? But costs more than 500. :(
>500 for 7600xt is kinda meh
or there's not much options for new, 450 +/- 4060 new at 100 less

i feel no current gen card at 450~500 gives great value
would you go 2nd hand market ? 6700xt is a no brainer <400

probably a couple of listing is out there, it just feels real bad and not worth it to diy at this price point (new gpu).

iirc, aftershock have a 5600+7800xt prebuild for 1300-ish which is hard to beat.

Hi all,
After reading the 1st post, there intention to build new rig as current rig believed the graphic card prob(fan can’t spin) cause the pc to auto shutdown after few minute.
Old rig AMD II Phenom + M4aA77TD pro. 1 SATA 2.5” 250gb and 3 3.5” hd.

1.if just buy new gpu, current gpu can use on old rig?

2.if build new rig, intend to use back 2.5” hard disk n at least 2 3.5” hard disk, which mb should I go for? Asus prime b550m-A wifi or ASRock b550m wifi? Intend to pair with ryzen 5600g.

3.if chosen mb + ryzen 5600g, in future still can add in gpu?

Thanks

yea, prebuilts are generally better bang for buck these days.

i would spend an extra $100 or so for the upgrade from am4 to am5 (<1.5k for 7500f + 7800xt is still insanely hard to beat).
1.if just buy new gpu, current gpu can use on old rig?
if u have pcie slots yes. but the phenom is so old it is unlikely to make use of any current gpu to its full potential.
2.if build new rig, intend to use back 2.5” hard disk n at least 2 3.5” hard disk, which mb should I go for? Asus prime b550m-A wifi or ASRock b550m wifi? Intend to pair with ryzen 5600g.
i would go for asrock, it is generally cheaper with a similar feature set.
3.if chosen mb + ryzen 5600g, in future still can add in gpu?
yes.
