Rest and recovery, and fasting gives time to your pancreas to recover and work again for producing insulin and enzymes. Sleeping or fasting enables pancreas to regenerate enzymes.

It's a controlled test where 100g of sugary drink is given and they checked 2hrs later. It's called ogtt (oral glucose tolerance test)

Walk to sweat a bit is not enough for you. You must walk 5km every night before you sleep if you want result.Yeah will walk to sweat a bit also ok

No need to start with an hour. Just start with 30 mins of moderate effort every other day. Moderate effort will be abit of heavy breathing, but able to converse in sentences of 5 words or so.It takes me an hour to finish such a distance
