This one is a good summary.

And also provides a view that is close to mine - the guy was not exactly silly or conned... he was in love and he did all those things willingly hoping that the girl would be touched and change and love him back one day.

Last time when I chionged I always saw guys falling heads over heels for girls who didn't exactly love them back and were neither pretty nor sexy nor well spoken.

Some of those guys are seasoned chiongsters.

Other guys tend to laugh and say these guys tio gongtao, but years later I realised these guys really met "the ones" and were deeply in love and thought they could change the girls over time and build the kind of future the guys envisaged.

Some of these guys are top corporate guys or senior civil servants and they gave up everything - their marriage, their children, their families, their career, their future - for the girls, some of whom are 10-fugs-with-different-customers-a-day atb "masseuses" who could not even speak proper Mandarin.

Tis is big biz in tiongland.

Alot of rich woman spends alot of money on tis. Got dedicated gamer to accompany her to play games. After d game will give red packet also.

They got platforms for all tis. Some r private grps on WeChat. Abit shady type.
