hi i didnt submit in may though. i submit in April 26th as mentioned and top up May 1st. Am i still eligible?

I saw the mailer and it states for submission in April, it doesnt state here when to top up, but it just state that the participating deposit will be earmark and cash credit by 31st may. So i just top up May 1st since its only On may 1st that the uob account has interest for amounts from 100 to 150k, thats why i chose to top up in May 1st.

If I submit my participation in May, can I deposit the sum on 1 Jun since the earmark will only take place on 28 Jun?

Dun try to "over game" or beat the system. It is clearly stated, whichever is later will be used to decide when to earmark/give you your reward. So if you do the above, it will give you your reward/be earmark by 31 July. Learn from other people's mistake you just quoted!

if you had deposit in May, I think your funds will be earmarked in Jun.

I still have 5 more days till my funds are supposed to be earmarked since I submitted the form in April and deposit before May.

I assume you mean transfer your funds in May (....'rampeld my funds in may 2024' ??)

note: since you transfer incremental funds in May, you should submit a form within May (not much time left now). Then, you will get earmarked in June.

yea u can do that.

u can even leave maribank with $0.

and when u buy things in shopee, u check out and check the amount after using maribank coupons in shopee, check the amount. lets say its $50.20. then just go transfer $50.20 to maribank via fast transfer (instant) and then go back shopee, it will detect straight away, then u select maribank as payment in shopee and then make payment.

EDIT : OOPS. i read wrongy haha. u mean apply uob one card to spend on Shopee? so u are not a user of UOB one account i assume. yea i dont have any issues with waiving fees from UOB before. But i am a constant card spender every month on my uob one card cuz i have uob one account.

UOB One is a quarterly rebate card. Only get $50 quarterly rebate and the extra shoppee 5% rebate if all the 3 mths in your quarter hit $500.

If some mths cannot hit you don't get the credit card rebate.

I guess it depends?

Friend who has the UOB one card has his waiver denied just recently.

Got a call back from UOB where they say will help him raise waiver request escalation and ultimately got denied as well.

His spend, afaik, are more about 600-800 per month. Not sure of the exact number but he did complained about it.

If you see benefits to get the card just get it. If they don't waive just terminate. No point guessing because some get waived some don't.

Don't just look at shoppee. This card is good if you can spend min $500 mthly. On top of the quarterly rebate $50, extra 5% rebate on shoppee, simplygo, McDonald's, guardian, giant, 7-11. Extra 1% on Singapore Power.

If you do get the card, once you receive it, call to align the billing cycle to coincide with calender mth for easier tracking and ask which 3 mths make up your quarter (don't assume because usually the first mth is over by the time you receive your card). First quarter rebate will be prorated for new customers.
