Anyone subscribed the Starhub HomeHub+ Ultraspeed @ $110/month? Can let me know if you got the ONT or ONR?
It is already mentioned on SH website that it is ONT and Sat we can start to watch UEPA EUROPA matches.
It is their TV contents that is nice la.

if i request for ONT will it another device or are they still providing the nokia as the ONT

Different device. Nokia XGS-PON ONT (single 10G LAN port), not the same as the all-in-one Nokia XGS-PON ONR (with AX6000 wireless, 10G LAN ports and 1G LAN ports).

Yesterday SH call back team informed me that their network team never reply and he will email them again. Tomorrow he will call back to update me. Look like wayang wayang to me as nothing Network Team can do as it is capacity issue and not within their control so of course they can not reply. If something spoilt or any of my hardware got issue then i will not get such good speed test result just now. Sometime night time i got 2Gbps only. Sure nothing spoilt la. My ping test to USA and packet loss test all ok.

ISP will not put users at risk with their ISP routers because putting users at risk is no different as putting their pocket at risk too. Their pocket can get burned easily.

EURO 24 expensive..early bird alr 88..now 108 :O
I checked with SH CSO and confirmed that we can watch as we are Homehub+ ultra speed and we have sports pass so can watch using Bein Sports Channels. No problem, no extra payment. Since this EURO 24 is priced so expensive so better watch it if got time.

UEFA Euro is not under beIN Sports la

it's under SPOTV in which you will need to subscribe la

Just saw an interesting story of TR-069.

It is very technical but you do not need to go through the technical stuff, just need to go to the last part to see that a top US ISP Cox can put millions of modems into vulnerable state, partly because of TR-069.

Sg is a tiny red dot so it is very small so very easy for ISP to control the situation. No worry.

can tr-069 be disabled? I check router wan profile, it is not ticked. also tiagong with superadmin password, you can also untick tr-069 in the ONT. so double privacy?
I got the superadmin but lazy to unhook and test :o

If you are using Nokia XS-2426X-A all-in-one XGS-PON ONR (with WiFi 6 AX6000), or Starhub issued TP-Link EB810v, I guess you are stuck.

Diable TR-069 --> Starhub can not push FW updates to you. That can cause security concerns.
Enable TR-069 --> some users may have concerns about security/privacy.

Potential work-around if you have concerns.
1) users who use Nokia XS-2426X-A -- bridge it and use your own 10G capable router
2) users who use Nokia ONT + Starhub issued TP-Link EB810v -- use your own router, sell the EB810v. I tend to think that you can still use EB810v in AP mode behind your own router

Or just like brother Henry Ng and trust Starhub.

The situation is similar for Singtel ZTE F8648P ONR and Singtel issued TP-Link HB810.

Again, you can just trust Singtel and then no need to worry about the issue. After all, there are many users who use Singtel ONR (unbridged).

Then for those who are really worried about TR-069/TR-369 remote management from the ISP, you can always go with MR 10Gbps plan, or use Starhub 5Gbps plan and go with the XGS-PON ONT option, then use you own router.
