My son had a nose surgery when he was about 20 yo. Hospitalised 3 days (remember nil food).

He had some sinus issues, always rubbing nose. Then sleeping time breathing through mouth + snoring.

The surgery fixed most of his issues. After he recovered, he exclaimed that he never knew normal breathing is such a good feeling.

He recovered very fast after the surgery coz was young.



*I (or he) could choose not to fix his issues as those were not life threatening but for quality of life, it's worth to get the surgery done despite some risks involved. He still having some sinus issues now though but the snoring etc issues resolved.

*the cotton items that stuffed into his nostrils were all the way to each side of the ears.

My friend's dad had a battery implanted to his cardio system at around 95 or 98 yo via keyhole. He was fit enough for the keyhole surgery as his other organs were still functioning well except heart too weak to pump.

The dad passed at 105 yo recently.

My neighbor last time told me has battery on
He collapsed one day n bee po beep po then battery then v long no see him also
Then I ask another neighbor told me the uncle gone liao

he said before after op no strength etc not as before

currently a NSF and just completed my A Levels last year. Was just going to man-mode and go to one of the local law sch afterwards in 2026 as I got a place already. But reality struck me suddenly. Sigh.

With the implant, then high chance of prolonging longer.

If you have an ineffective heart valve, what happens is the heart have to work harder in order to pump the same amount of blood.
When the heart works harder than normal over the years the heart becomes enlarged , but because of the enlargement the valves become further apart thereby more leakage.
One fine day the circulation is not enough to even provide blood supply to the heart muscles itself
That's the day you punch out your ticket

If anyone experience symptoms, better do CT scan for heart . Sometimes ECG can't check much. I myself knew I have mild issue in my valve issue but ECG always showed reading ok. But chest always feel tight whenever i run . Last time during school days, couldn complete 2.4km as chest in tight n breathless. pE teach always forced me to run and my chest felt even tighter. Now I knew the reason why after consulting a cardiologist

My colleague went JB to do health screen and one of the item is CT Calcium score. initially i thought is just a reading of bone stuff, it is actually a score count of calcium deposits in the hearth arteries. In the end he took the report to specialist in SG and have to immediately do a ballooning sia...

Yes, rapid heartbeat even at rest, dizziness, consistent jaw pain that is not due to dental issues, pain radiating from arm can be warning signs of heart issues. I come from a family with cardiovascular disease.

Side note: so finally my youngest sibling went for an angiogram as all the older ones have had heart bypass. This sibling eats fried food EVERY DAY and drinks bubble tea EVERY DAY. Guess what? No blockage and no hardening of arteries. Calcium score zero.

I am really speechless. But of course there is still the possibility of blockage at the neck and brain, which she didn't check.

She is most likely active ballet or gym.
Like construction worker drink coke no problem because their work burn off the sugar.

I cannot go foodcourt makan and some more need go to work need take jab.

I took the sinovac less impact not yet take booster then kena covid and dnt need take it consider vaccination.

Why cannot eat food court? Then eat what?

Last time in army during reservist want keng downgrade but no medical history.

The problem happened after 40s if not can keng and I was once top runner for 2.4km

Sad case.....this week , a friend passed away.
Only 43 , married with 3 kids.
Got to know that deceased was diagnosed with leaking valve in heart. But refused to go for operation as he worried complications of operation. After sending all kids to school, not long after he just collapsed and passed on.

I read up more about valve leaking. This would lead to cardiac arrest.

Sigh., if I’m him, I’ll do surgery than to risk

Mafan is not rare, there are variation and various severity. Some went for test some not so never detected.

I eat all things.. but i avoid mala, too spicy things like curry/laksa, rendang/byrani and any processed food
