Oh dear. How's the wife and mother of the children?

With children like that, she's definitely someone of high-risk and need close, I hate this word, monitoring for some time. :(

Exactly. My sister waited too late for surgery. She passed suddenly last year. Ask your cardiologist how urgent is your case. My cardiologist gave me a time frame for my stent procedure as I had just started a new job last year.

Cardiac Valvular disease needs to be addressed early. The last thing you want is an enlarged heart but weakened and ending up with heart failure requiring transplant

My brother did this via the mouth to check for clots. This was a few months after his open heart surgery. Complicated story. All turns out well. Today he has decided to fully retire, exercises and cooks his own meals as much as possible.
I see use transesophageal echocardiogram and open mouth use scope check go through heart also got some pain.
Throat likely pain after check up;)

Stent is simple. But after that needed to eat blood thinner for the rest of your life.

Had it done in NUH. Some complications during the surgery . There was excessive bleeding. Part of heart and lungs got stuck together due to the last surgery so cannot fix another problem of irregular heartbeat. Thanks

I discovered 5 yrs ago but dare not go and they told me I am still young not like in 60s so my heart valve can repair if come worse need use animal valve or mechanical valve replacement.

Are the operation tough:)
Heard need take out heart do repair and stay 1 week in hospital after surgery:(
Yes, operation was tough. No need to take out the heart. They will stop your heart and lungs, put you on a heart and lung machine. Expected to stay in hospital for 7 days but extended to 14 days due to resting heartbeat going too high (158) - and then too low (28)

The endocarditis did more damage to my heart than the scans detected, surgeon had to pair the damage part of the heart with cow tissue before they can secure the mechanical valve.

Lucky to be alive, wife have to manage me and my children while I am down. hospitalisation leave is 3 months for the ribs to heal.

Yes, rapid heartbeat even at rest, dizziness, consistent jaw pain that is not due to dental issues, pain radiating from arm can be warning signs of heart issues. I come from a family with cardiovascular disease.

Side note: so finally my youngest sibling went for an angiogram as all the older ones have had heart bypass. This sibling eats fried food EVERY DAY and drinks bubble tea EVERY DAY. Guess what? No blockage and no hardening of arteries. Calcium score zero.

I am really speechless. But of course there is still the possibility of blockage at the neck and brain, which she didn't check.

But I am like...is there a reason a higher being is protecting her?

there is nothing wrong with bubble tea leh sugar is in everything as long as in moderation...u know even white rice is basically sugar no difference to the body?

as for fried food, the saturated fat is an issue but as long as not too much the body also can take it...its normal diet...

educate urself properly on nutrition ya dont any how pomp then later come tell us book smart no use street smart got use then see what quack tcm holland

Sad case.....this week , a friend passed away.
Only 43 , married with 3 kids.
Got to know that deceased was diagnosed with leaking valve in heart. But refused to go for operation as he worried complications of operation. After sending all kids to school, not long after he just collapsed and passed on.

I read up more about valve leaking. This would lead to cardiac arrest.
my father late 50s passed on from a cardiac arrest earlier this year while doing HIIT. He did a heart bypass surgery too.
