I need to do port forwarding for Plex hosting, Qbittorrent and WireGuard.

What are my alternative options? Totally not familiar with IPv6 other than it has more digits haha.
Bittorrent should work fine with IPv6 without doing anything. For Plex and WireGuard, IPv6 access will not really be any different except "more digits". It's just that you will only be able to access them if you connect from an IPv6 network, so it depends a bit on where you normally access them from.

If you want / need IPv4 than your options are using something like Cloudflare Tunnel, Tailscale, or another tunnel/VPN that allows remote connections (basically routed through a third party).

I found it at store room, not sure buy or people give me for free. forgot alr lol. jialat so bad ar?
Which router u recommend to buy bro? For 10gbps speed

10G capable wireless routers are not cheap.

I have listed 2.5G/5G/10G capable routers here.
https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/threads/understanding-the-abcs-of-home-networking.6653421/page-6

For SIMBA users, the cheapest way to get 10G capable WiFi router is probably to get eero Max 7 from SIMBA at S$399.

I tend to think it is not a very good WiFi 7 router based on the following review by Dongknows, but the wireless performance should be okay for the price. Dongknows gives very negative reviews probably based on the high US retail price. It is also not very good since you need to pay for basic security (subscription based security offering).

You may also need to upgrade your devices to support 10G.

Some say you get less peers with IPv6 for Bittorent. But I guess it should not be a big problem in most cases.

IPv6 is still not available for most of the Singtel Fibre Internet users and all VQ/MR/WC Fibre internet users. IPv6 is also only available to Singtel/Starhub Mobile 5G SA users (no IPv6 for 4G users and NSA users may not usually get IPv6 either). So I guess it is not really an option for the hosting of Plex server and Wireguard VPN server.

I know Cloudflare Tunnel is a good option (with own domain namer), but not so sure if Tailscale/ZeroTier is a solution or not for hosting. Just wondering how you are going to do that with Tailscale/ZeroTier?

Zerotier works for me to phone home and see my security cam.
As for bt i pipe mine thru a vpn, stuff still downloads relatively fast and generally finishes in less than 6 hours.

Tailscale/Zerotier (or Netbird and Twingate) work well for remote access back to home. I am using them myself to avoid port forwading on the Singtel ZTE F8648 ONR for my Singtel 5Gbps plan (using Double NAT now since I can not bridge the ZTE ONR).

The question is for hosting servers. I am not so sure how to use Tailscale/Zerotier for that purposes. As the clients need to be on the same Tailscale or ZeroTier network to see the servers. Maybe I am missing something here.

I know Cloudflare tunnel works -- you do need a public domain name, which is quite cheap now.

You install the Zerotier vpn on the client machines as well, then in the admin add those machines to the group. When you need to talk to them just turn on the vpn.

Simba is educating the market on how a 10Gbps plan can be worse than a 500Mbps one.
consumers not decerning enough.

imo with the amount of downside simba has, not worth if it's going to be the only connection.

can only consider if you're using it for fail over, or together in a blend with your primary connection using policy routing.

I tried both TailScale and ZeroTier and finally settle down with TailScale.

TailScale got this "Exit Node" function which sort of allows you to access the whole home network using a single device setup. This works perfect for me as some of the older NAS is unable to install TailScale.

I use both Tailscale and Zerotier but indeed I like Tailscale a bit better. I use Tailscale Exit Node function as well on pfSense.

On the other hand, it is said that Zerotier has "exit node" function as well. I have not tried the feature myself.
https://docs.zerotier.com/exitnode/

I am learning how to use Netbird as well. It seems to have "exit node" function as well.
https://docs.netbird.io/how-to/configuring-default-routes-for-internet-traffic

Another popular solution is Twingate and it does not seem to have the "exit node" concept.

TBH ... Simba quite decent compared to how MR is doing recently. The amount of downtime on MR is one of the main reason why I switched over. Cost is also lower than what MR is charging right now.

BT working, Gaming, video streaming and Xiaomi Cam all working fine for me. Only thing I don't really like is that accessing HWZ page abit slow.
