Life in SG is getting harder and harder unless you have a lot of money.. everything the essential like house and food all getting more and more expensive.. even the middle class already feeling the pinch... As more and more rich or high net worth people come here to push these prices up... Soon the upper middle class people will start to feel it.. open door policy they used to justify we need them cos they take the jobs unwanted by locals. Like construction, garbage disposal, cleaning jobs.. now u see FTs everywhere even competing for jobs that locals want. Then locals get passed over for cheaper FTs.. FTs started to get more managing roles. Bring their own ppl and village to take over the entry level roles. It's already been happening since the 2010s.. good luck. As more n more locals get displaced to work grabcar private hire and do food delivery.. the local born and bred in SG voting population gets more n more diluted..

Go take a look at the mrt Publix transportats and shopping malls. How many of them are foreigners. And these are not the low paying migrant workers who are working in construction jobs...

I feel more at home in PAS controlled Kelantan. PAP only cares about money and don't mind pwning sinkies while PAS only cares about the afterlife and heck care gdp

Yes its all about luck. I've a fren that is short & skinny, looks like a drug addict. And he has no career ambitious, no house/no car, no savings. But he found a Korean gf who is pretty & succesful career. She covered all their expenses during dating and they just got married recently. Those jobs like lift/ escalator technicians and even those fibre cable laying companies like netlink trust full of banglas now.. SG blue collar workers how to compete with them with their kind of salaries??? Even malls food courts starting to see Bangla cleaners and dishcollector/washer...

Now parcel delivery like Lazada/shopee also I see Bangla going house to house to deliver parcel.. food delivery now a lot of JHK either legal PR or illegal fighting and competing with the locals for the slice of the food delivery pie...

I read twice. I have the book. I understand a lot of concepts. But is all theory. Ultimately life still has to go on and money talks.
