Same explanation this morning. I'm still not getting a reply when they coming. Took leave for this. Very pissed
If there is no appointment shown in the app, there isn't any. It is now known that some of our orders fall into a sort of black hole after being submitted...

They would also send multiple SMS to remind you, if don't have means none set up. It's one of the "risk" of using the secret link to sign up, it's no man land.

yeah i was searching. will asus zen xd5 able to work? quite confused now.
Nothing to confuse la. Can not support la. 1G router only. Must have 10G WAN and LAN. Suggest getting TP-Link 800 from outside or 810 from SH. See > https://www.tp-link.com/sg/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-be800/

  • Dual 10G Ports: 1× 10 Gbps Ethernet/Fiber Combo WAN/LAN port + 1× 10 Gbps WAN/LAN port + 4× 2.5 Gbps ports + 1× USB 3.0 port ensure max flexibility and boosted throughput.§

Did you sign up via the link online to get the 29.55? Not trying to defend SH, but it's quite a hit/miss when signing up with the secret link, and to get confirmation best to call 1630 to confirm (or they manually input it for you).

Trying to understand better so others thinking to use the secret link can avoid some of this hiccups.
Yup I have signed up via the secret link. I have read up the post before signing up, I may have overlooked that have to call them up to confirm the appointment. I received the order confirmation hence I thought the appointment has been scheduled. My NLT port has been activated though. Just that the appointment was not scheduled. I am just sharing my experiences and didn't expect this to happen.

ohh this deal also can walk in to Starhub to sign up ? that means can also walk into Plaza Sing starhub to sign up ?
I received at leaflet through letter box from Starhub. My M1 fibre had expired in Feb, not sure how they hit up to me. I brought the leaflet to Starhub Nex and sign up. The Rep did collect and keep the leaflet though.

It is an IMDA regulation that all service providers must provide number porting even for fixed lines. Write in to IMDA if M1 refuse to corporate.
I saw bros mentioning that there are anaolgue and digital lines (pg160) so that's why cannot? I try to ask another M1 shop first.

If you find out how to port M1 digital voice over to Starhub, do share with us! I'm in a similar situation but yet to pull the trigger.

I assumed to be of similar to mobile phone number, as long as you don't terminate your existing plan with M1 & contract-less, Starhub will trigger the porting on your behalf without any intervention from your end. But based on your sharing, it doesn't seems to be the case.
Hi bro, until the Starhub is up and running, I will continue to ask M1 first. If anyone manage to find out this or got it through with porting home tel. do share here too!

@EliNehe Refer to your thread.

@blurblur123 Consider the
  1. wifi coverage
  2. the number and type of devices &
  3. how they are connected.
The EB810v should fit your needs better. Greater wifi coverage and 3 additional 2.5Gbps LAN ports compared to the HB710. For more, visit https://www.starhub.com/personal/broadband/routers.html

If cost is an issue, inquire Starhub Sales about installment plan for the router, $15 x 24 months. Good luck!
