HDB need what ID? all standard layout. just take some pics ask them replication maybe change some colour.

my uncle juz renovated his whole hdb flat... his son help him settle... they go with contractor... no ID... juz pick simple theme ... wood and white paint... contractor follow... he do everything only $25k like tt... without appliances....

Like if I want a Modern Luxury house that has a WOW effect, can contractor provide a design that suits my needs?

I don't mean find from internet and rojak give me a solution. I want a solution that is unique to my house. With all rooms have a flow to them

biggest cost is always the carpentry, plus ppl like to do partition whole stretch of wall then cut out a niche or arch to do shelving.

wirings can conceal if its BTO.

hacking quite ex nowadays. somemore even tho hacking price for floor & wall tiles is lump sum de, they will still charge per item/ala carte for things like removing wardrobe, doors etc. and per item can come up to $300-400

HDB with minimalistic design style will save money…..just go internet and learn - problem solved.

Why nowadays home renovation so expensive? I want to do a simple 4-5 room hdb flat also 80-100k. Not even doing much carpentry.

8 years ago, 35k I can settle the whole renovation for my old flat for similar work done.

recently on stomp. one flat owner spent 40k to renovate his flat , plus the common area infront of his flat and 2 other neighbours.

So if you don't want to work, you don't look for an id.

Now it's cheaper to hire an admin 2k to coordinate with all the contractors for you. Maybe the admin can help you save 20k and also help design and schedule better.

BTO or Resale HDB…Contractor will normally charge based on job size, not based on BTO or Resale HDB.

Got any lobang for direct contractor tiling works for 4 rm bto, living room and all the rooms. Just need to supply labour, cement screed, wash after completion and protection? Tiles will purchase myself. I did not ops for OCS. Pls pm me

4-5rm bto also ky one. But provided ur flooring n tiles all these done by hdb. Basically only need to do up kitchen cabinets, install lighting, painting, curtains + 3 aircons. Shld be doable but also depending on ur choice of materials.
