The truth is, Singapore is much better than almost every other country in the world. This is from my experience travelling and living and other countries. Recently I stayed in Shanghai for two months. The vast majority of people there have a much tougher life making ends meet than Singapore. Their housing is much more expensive than Singapore. To buy a car one needs to bid for the right, which cost almost like our coe. And still need to secure a parking lot before can buy. Only the very rich can afford to buy a car there. Hong Kong also the same. Japan the life is worst. Malaysia even worst than Singapore.

My neighbor's son and his wife who migrated to Australia also now back and staying with his parent.

One of my fren migrated to NZ a couple of years ago and another one who migrated to UK all now back here.

Those of us cannot make it overseas cannot go back SG. SG too expensive already.

Maybe if only went overseas short period like 1-2 years and kept their SG property still can.

But if like me went for almost 20 years and sold HDB already then cannot go back.

We are screwed.

very different for my case. i have relatives in malaysia, china, hk, holland, usa and nobody liked singapore. those in malaysia even asked me to join them coz life is easier

i also have friends who worked illegally in australia & usa & thus never paid taxes. life is of course good lol. anthony & trump didn't manage to deport them because as illegal aliens, you have to be very cautious with your movement, communications & whereabouts

the low educated and unemployed and ppl in poverty re so much so much more likely to take drugs
… Become addicted and jobless prolonged time … then always in a vicious cycle rob steal beg and become theives n robbers == depicting the underprivileged blacks who grew up with missing parent(s) or too many diff set of parents… repeat not one but over generations..

I also read reports and articles of the non blacks having a prejudice against blacks n having very big inclinations to over penalise them even for the slightest minor crime .. even when they aren’t the one doing crime (eg story in to kill a mockingbird)

I prefer to stay away from people in general.

I enjoy peace and quiet. Nature. Open spaces.

I do talk to them at the company Xmas party and gatherings.

Just that we don't socialize during personal time.

I dont find this "tough" at all. I don't have this need to have lots of different friends.
