Did they get Aussie PR? Is there any difference in job hiring between PR and Aussie citizen ?

I read once get Aussie PR very easy to get jobs n benefits?

I do not ask. Some of the finance friends mentioned that after grad, they need to land a job before can apply PR.
After many tries, still cannot get a job.

Engineering side seems to be easier, especially the civil engineering fields. CSE competition there is as tough as Sg. haha

Doctor and nursing friends, they went over after getting a job.

I noticed alot of Singaporeans/Malaysians cannot accept that office engineer makes less than the tradies.
And then some of the "higher management" cannot use the same yaya papaya attitude towards the rank and files workers.

that’s why for nursing, if you want to jump in salary, migrate when still junior. If u do it as a senior nurse, the salary increment is not that much and you “can’t pull rank”

Our 8.5 acres of land is only valued at A$1 million. Where got tens of millions?

strata+water+council about 7-8k/annum. i heard its similiar to a condo in singapore

Funny thing is , I watched a lot of YouTube videos in the recent years of Ang Mohs leaving UK , Aussie and Canada and moving to SEA like Malaysia and Thailand

That’s 1 of the reasons I hesitate to migrate to Aussie

Cannot. They tried to get study permit also cannot. Cos they renounced their citizenship.
my youngest maybe cos she born in Canada. So she could go SG as foreigner then later get PR. But she is still so young. By that time I probably dead

really depends on what opportunities are given to the people who left Sg.

A lot of finance background friends returned from Aussie because job is mainly given to the local.

Few engineering friends returned from NZ/Aussie/USA because they studied CSE and the other returned for families. They are also not doing well locally.

Doctor and nursing friends never returned.

Yes I know of one acquaintance studied a medical degree in tasmania which is not recognized to practice in Singapore I think he should be earning about 300k aud per annum, he is dealing with sports

Salary doesn’t justify living standard. In Australia, everyday consume local high quality agriculture product. Holiday can drive own boat go fishing, winter go skiing. House is big and can stay with pet running happily. Every member can drive car to tour around the country. Education not stressful and government provide load to study till undergraduate. Four season weather with fresher air.
Singapore is about efficiency and faster pace. More for people like to chiong to earn money. Really depend on individual.

I know cos my daughter applied for student permit after renounced. ICA say no. No reason. university appeal on her behalf. Again no. This was for just 1 month student permit also cannot. For elective.

So you can imagine apply for job Lagi cannot!

There is no going back as FT for ex SGrean. SGreans will be pissed if ICA allow that.

Those go back are those still SGrean citizen but have PR of their own country.

Another group very common is Msians.

Msians will get new citizenship but Msia dunno. So they hold eg Aussie and Msian passports.

Then they apply for work permit in SG using Msian passport. SG like Msian. Preferential country for applications. Approved.
