Just to update, I WA ST CS earlier on my ineligibility to sign up for the 5 Gbps @ 29.90 and guess what, ST is willing to offer me 3 Gbps @ 29.90 + Wifi7 Router (I assume is HB610). Although its lower than initial price (39.90), but I assume SH latest promotion still win? (5 Gbps @ 29.55 + HB710)

1) Yes, SH's new offer today is better. HB710 has dual 10G ports and rated triband WiFi 7 BE18000, much better than the HB611-SGST which only has dual 2.5G ports and only rated triband WiFi 7 BE11000.

2) M1 6Gbps new user offer is still very competitive as well, S$34.90 with TP-Link Archer BE805, or S$46.90 per month with a pair of Asus ZenWiFi BT10. The catch is that it is not available in all areas.

Yep Im aware of the M1 deal but too bad it's not available in my area. I guess it's time to leave ST for the longest time!

If we look at the Singtel New Home offer, maybe Singtel will ditch the lousy Singtel AX5400 devices and go with only HB611-SGST and HB810. Let's see. The price is not that attractive though --> but we can use this as a base to see potential good recontract offer coming out from Singtel.

Singtel completes world’s first successful telco trial of AI-enabled Home WiFi Gateway

https://www.singtel.com/about-us/me...l-telco-trial-of-AI-enabled-Home-WiFi-Gateway

Not sure how beneficial or what for this…

Maybe will see more Qualcomm Dragonwing (TM) Networking Wi-Fi 7 platforms devices from Singtel

Wasted since it will be an ONR with WiFi 7 ...

Qualcomm is into this Home WiFi Gateway chipset for Telcos like Singtel.

See the word TR-369 and power users run away already...

The roll-out of the AI-enabled Home WiFi Gateway will augment Singtel’s ongoing efforts to boost its national broadband network that supports the rising demands for new technologies. Last year, Singtel was the first fixed broadband service provider in the world to successfully implement the international Broadband Forum TR-369 standard for Wi-Fi management. This enables the telco to efficiently manage multi-vendor home broadband customer premise equipment and accelerate the roll out of new innovative technologies and capabilities like Wi-Fi 7, 10Gbps broadband services and more. It also enables better interoperability between the network and connected devices, translating to an improved digital customer experience.

Today morning Singtel technician came to my place to install the ONR and setup the new 3GB internet broadband. I received the NOKIA XS-240X-A and receive the WIFI7 device. Below are the info for the ONR

SW Ver = 3TN00284JJLI17(1.2401.317)
HW Ver = 3TN00265CBAA
Boot Ver = Bootbase1.1-Jun-26-2023--20:23:25

Currently my connection; Nokia ONR unbridged LAN1 connect to 2.5GB Asus RT-AX86U (Router Mode)
WIREGUARD is not working because can connect but no internet access.

@xiaofan : Can you share with me link to configure the Nokia ONR LAN1 port to BRIDGE mode.

Thank you in advance

Are you serious? I have one to be given away.

FYI on the possible WiFi 6 and WiFi 7 mesh solution from SingTel.

Singtel now offers the following mesh solutions (not counting the Singtel FTTR FibreEverywhere Bundle)
https://www.singtel.com/personal/support/broadband/routers-ont

1Gbps capable WiFi 6 mesh solution: not recommended in general. Hopefully SingTel can get rid of them asap.

2.5Gbps capable WiFi 7 mesh solution:

10Gbps capable WiFi 7 mesh solution:

You can use the following combination as well.

If I sign up for the SH 5Gbps plan with Wifi 7 Tp-link HB710, but they only provide 1 unit. Can I buy 2 more Deco BE85 and link them all up with wireless backhaul?

Thank you for the guide link. Successful bridged and LAN2,3 & 4 on NOKIA ONR still can connect to internet.
Interesting. SingTel just done my bridging port. The ONR became ONT. the rest of the ports cannot be use. I need to use my AX-86U as the main router now.

Happy to report that 10G upgrade done, ONR successfully bridged, IPTV and DV both working :)

Only slight hiccup was that the ST FE wasn't very clear about the steps to config the bridging, so I had to guide him a bit using the steps from here. He said ST only recently started approving ONR bridging.

Yours ONR bridging is done officially by SingTel -- so they will not let you have two networks and two public IPv4 addresses. Only single network and single public IPv4 address.

For the manual ONR bridging (unofficial bridging)
ZTE F8648P -- unbridged ports no longer work for Internet access.
Nokia XS-240X-A -- unbridged ports work for Internet access.
