After looking at the recommendations, this is the list for my new PC for office work. Any parts that I should change?

CPU & MB: Ryzen 5 5600G + Asus PRIME B550M-A (WI-FI) ($288 Dynacore)
Memory: TEAM T-FORCE DELTA RGB 3600MHz CL18 KIT(aura sync) ($55 Dynacore)
Storage: Crucial P3 Plus 2 TB ($159 Tradepac)
PSU: FSP HV PRO 85+ 550W Black cables - ($58 Bizgram)
Case: Silverstone lucid04 ($69 Dynacore)

Total: $629

Some qns:
1) Is the Silverstone Attis 650W 80+ Bronze Psu(3yrs) $65 better than the FSP?
2) Does dual channel ram matters for office work?
3) How come gen 3 nvme is the same price or more expensive than gen 4 nvme? The Crucial P3 Plus can still work with gen 3 Ryzen 5 5600g right just that the speed is limited?
Go sim lim go buy those hp elite desk g3 i7 for like $200++ better and smaller

Planning my no-hard-budget-limits, futureproofed dream build. Going for a glass case, RGB rave party :flash: white build with black accents. Use case is digital art programs, graphic design programs, video editing, trading, self-hosting LLMs, and some 1440p gaming. Any thoughts about how these parts could be optimized for price and performance?

This isn't an upgrade, I have no existing parts to recycle. I don't need a PC desperately. I have enough time to wait for international deliveries and for GPU prices to get less insane.

CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 9950X or Intel U9 285k
MB - MSI Pro X870-P Wifi (AMD) or MSI Pro Z890-P Wifi (Intel)
CPU Cooler - Lian Li Galahad II LCD
RAM - Corsair Vengeance RGB 64GB DDR5 6400MHz
GPU - MSI RTX 5080 Gaming Trio OC White, 5070 Ti or 9070XT as backups if the GPU market doesn't cool off by the time I'm ready to make the SLS pilgrimage
SSD - Samsung 990 Pro 2TB
PSU - Lian Li Edge Platinum 1000W or 1300W
Case - Montech King 95 Pro + the 6 fans that come with it

The other day when i went down to sls to get full system quote from the different sls shops, dynacore told me they don't carry ryzen 7600x as it is parallel import and was recommending me on ryzen 7700. When i checked with all the other shops like tradepac/perf pc they carry 7600x and it is local warranty. Is this the case of different shops source their components differently, some pi some local distro?
probably, like how only dynacore offers the asus b650 in bulk packaging for a cheaper price and nowhere else does. not sure why they are saying 7600x is parallel import tho, sounds like theyre trying to upsell u to the 7700.
Wondering If its a good idea to get prebuilt 9070xt + 7800x3d right now?
how much is the one ur looking at? they shouldnt cost much over 2k.

the 9950x is generally faster and consumes less power. not sure if intel has fixed the inconsistent performance of the 285k, or even offers any upgrade path for lga1851. or maybe wait for the 9950x3d coming out next week.
MB - MSI Pro X870-P Wifi (AMD) or MSI Pro Z890-P Wifi (Intel)
x870 is basically a rebadged b650e. suggest u look at something like the b650e aorus elite ice for a largely white mobo.
GPU - MSI RTX 5080 Gaming Trio OC White, 5070 Ti or 9070XT as backups if the GPU market doesn't cool off by the time I'm ready to make the SLS pilgrimage
when it comes to ai, nvidia is generally the better choice. just get something with at least 16gb of vram.
Any thoughts about how these parts could be optimized for price and performance?
if ur looking at such high end stuff, quite difficult to optimise for price.

not really. u can replace the 9700x with the 7700 in the master m54 and lose barely any performance, while also shaving $200 from the cost. as mentioned previously, 9070xt builds shouldnt cost more than 2k, especially without x3d.

Sadly they all cost over 2k at AS/INVA because I don't do DIY and only looking at prebuilt and I also don't really have any connections to anyone that could help build one since I only upgrade once every few years, so not really sure if I should wait or go for it right now

Hi all, I'm also seeking opinions to get a build from Invader PC as well:

AMD RYZEN 7 7800X3D 4.2GHz 8CORE/16THREAD
ASUS TUF GAMING B650M-E WIFI MOTHERBOARD
THERMALRIGHT Peerless Assassin 120 SE White Argb (Changed from AIO to air cooler)
CRUCIAL PRO DDR5 BLACK 6000MT/s 32GB(16GBx2) CL36
SAPPHIRE AMD RADEON PULSE RX 7800XT
CRUCIAL P3 PLUS 1TB GEN4 NVMe M.2
MSI A750GL-750W ATX3.0 PCIe5.0 80+ GOLD FULL MODULAR (Changed PSU from Silverstone ET750-G)
SAMA V-NATURE WHITE TG ATX CASE (Changed to this case for better airflow)
4 X 120MM ARGB FANS

$1802 SGD

Plan to play CS2, Monster Hunter Wilds at 1440p ultrawide res, hoping to get 100fps or more.
Edit: Not sure if the pricing is decent, what with the GPU markup and everything

Thanks for reading!

Even 5080 cost 2.3k sgd for GPU alone more than your whole build only able to get 100 fps at 1440p on MHW…

I see. Perhaps I should just hope for 70-80fps on high with frame gen on
No. For latency sensitive games like monster hunter, it makes little sense. U want almost immediate input, not press a button and wait 1 second for the game to respond.

Frame gen is more acceptable for games which are less latency sensitive like turn based RPGs for example.

The latency lag isn't as bad as you say based on my experience in monster hunter world and rise. Unless they really messed it up in wilds, which would be terrible. Latency lag would be unacceptable for competitive multiplayer games imo.

the invaderpc build is pretty decent, especially since it is very similar to ur own parts list for $200+ cheaper. if u want, u can inquire them if it is possible to change the case to something of ur choice, the lancool 216 is a good pick for airflow.
SAPPHIRE RX 7800 XT Pulse 16B OC $659
Is it worth to top up for 5070 or 7800xt is better?
depends on how much u value raytracing and dlss. for pure raster performance the 78xt is not far behind the 5070, so if u go for the invader build and dont play rt games, then u likely wont notice much of a difference paying the extra $400 for the 5070.

as synchronicity mentioned, mhw need at least 5080 to hit 1440p100 native. i looked around a few videos on youtube for 78xt performance, seems like should be able to hit 100fps with framegen and i dont think there should be much issues with latency as the base framerate is high enough to not add much noticeable latency. cs2 no issue with 78xt. the premium going with 78x3d is a bit steep though, since it is a $400 (~25%) top up from the build hello_la shared. yes x3d is great for cs2 performance, but it only offers maybe a 20% boost in the best cases.

Thanks for the detailed reply! Would a Ryzen 5 7600 be sufficient then or should I go with the 7700 like hello_la ?

After much research i think Asus TUF gaming b650m might not be able to fit the card as it will block the bottom motherboard connectors since the pcie slots are lower than usual. Might go with full atx instead since my 9070xt takes up 3 pcie slots. Omg didn realise its so thick
