The sad thing is the changi parts are very pro opposition and now being placed into the pasir ris stronghold to dilute east coast

Is Pasir Ris really a PAP stronghold? All these years, the only opposition party that contested there was the weak, ineffective SDA, which did not extensively cover the ground even during election time.

West Coast, PSP's 49% now kena Tharman's 70%.
That's a ***** cheap move.

They really so scared of LMW and they really so bloody shameless to redraw the GRC boundaries like this.

They really think people support this kind of cheating? Vote them out!
Boundaries drawn based on past statistics, but they failed to take into account
- Tharman no longer there
- Opposition party was weak, RDU contested against PAP in the last GE.

Same like Punggol GRC, it was compared based on SDA's performance, if WP contest might have massive swing votes, like the 26.89% swing vote we saw with PSP contesting instead of RP.

i notice now all the new grad, instead of joining the private sector , most of them aim to join civil sector,
it shows that the benefit of working in civil sector is too good.
That's because private sector not hiring

If let you choose between tech firm/bank vs civil service, most would want to work in tech/finance

Opposition can never win, every yr add 20k+ new citizen n each mp serve 20k+ citizen so each election add 4 to 5 new seats... Can Opposition get one new grc for every every election ...

Yes that's not ideal but it could have been worse. Fortunately, Marine Parade town (GCT's old ward) is not part of the new East Coast GRC. That area is even more of a PAP stronghold.

I feel Marine Parade is not longer PAP stronghold already, feels like they need Tin Pei Ling to help them liao.

And what is East Coast GRC anchor this time? Still Heng Heng?

Added 4 more seats, maybe maximum they only forecast to lose max 4 seats to opposition, which is East Coast GRC?

Edwin Tong may be picked as the anchor minister but I doubt he is so popular that he will make it uncompetitive. It is shaping up to be a very close fight between WP and PAP in both the new East Coast GRC and the new Marine Parade GRC.

With the release of the new boundaries, voters now await the date of the next general election, which must be held by Nov 23 this year.
