If he really joins politics, no joke sia. Put him anywhere can keep or take down one GRC.
Try lah. Will be historical if such a situation arises, and change the rules on GRC.Reset GRC rule for superstar to cannot run for erection! Too many uncertainty, and not good for incumbent.

Even birds know to have offsprings, need to find a comfortable nest (sheltered from danger and harsh environment) and ability to find food.

With the influx of foreigners, good jobs are getting lesser, salary more and more competitive, housing rental/resale/BTO are all linked, school/food/medical everything……

I think we should tackle the birth rate issue. Something so radical the PAP has not done before.

I read on Reddit or Facebook comment that a suggestion would be to offer a permanent tax relief for parents for every child born.
this one sensitive issue

but the whites already doing it by giving a lot of extra maternity and paternity leave.

but it causes the singles to be unhappy. cos they need to cover these ppl when they go on leave. singles feel like they get nothing most of the time. and more and more singles as time goes on.

but the problem is not just with birth rate issue. but with marriage and matching people together. cause you need to be together first then can have baby right. In the past the government do more to help singles find partners, like last time have SDN network then they got these spark connections where they let you claim credits up to $100 a year for dating related events with 50% co-payment. but all these now, GONE, with the excuse they say cos dating apps easier to use (more like they dont want to spend any efforts on this area anymore).

Baby bonus are one off events. It's not alot of money for those higher SES.

I rather have a permanent tax relief, that's alot of money saved over time.

On the contrary he is very likely to say the above, if he joins pap

WP is one of the larger opposition in Singapore and yet they find it difficult to walk the entire East side. That goes to show how "well resourced" they are.
WP is the largest and the most resource rich opposition party in Singapore, only PSP comes close to them. Their operating expenses is probably 2-3% that of PA due to organising activities in their own GRC/ SMC and walkabouts in the eastern part of Singapore but still much more than those mosquito parties that only spend money on renting of their office and meetings a few times a year.
