Thats how chinese developments uually are...
Chinese developers are actually not bad, compared to Malaysian ones like KSL. Go check out KSL mall/residence and you will be appalled :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Chinese ones are clean and pretty well maintained in comparison :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Go JB to see for yourself the location of the RTS station. It is FAR away from R&F mall. The RTS crowd are not going to walk to R&F mall

The closest mall to the RTS station is Komtar mall. It is now booming, with more tenants moving into previously empty shops.

yah.. exactly. the RTS terminal is at bukit chegar. city square, jbcc and the area over there will still be popular area at CIQ.

who would want to walk all the way to RNF?

Depends how they plan their journey home. I think many would still prefer taking buses from Woodlands Checkpoint...cheaper fare for them I guess especially those working in Woodlands and Marsiling area.

I also saw that many Malaysians that stay at R&F Condo and work in SG prefer to walk along the main road then crossed the road at the traffic lights to return to R&F Mall/Condos. Its shorter journey actually. Just now from R&F Mall to JB Sentral to meet my wife at 8pm there I used the main road towards JB Sentral bus terminal. Before that I used the overhead bridge from CIQ/JB Sentral to go to R&F Mall/Condos. I found it longer journey takes about 15 to 20 minutes to reach R&F Mall.

if got train, 1 time clearance, who wanna take the bus? train is through journey in an aircon area. take bus still have to smell exhaust.

Kedai Makan Jadi Baru Botak
15, Jalan Lepas, Tanjung Puteri, 80300 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia
take note, the fried beehoon is only for morning breakfast. think it ends arouund 10am, than is serving lunch menu like assam fish head, all those.

latest update, they've revamped the menu, no more breakfast menu, and terminated 米粉炒鱼 , now is give u a menu to order "big" dishes + there's no dishes for 1 pax.

With the RTS station at Bukit Chagar, can't see how Komtar JBCC and City Square will still be as popular.
Don't see any plans to build link bridge.
Both are out of the way, only convenient for those travelling by bus.
Even worse for R&F.

Didn't see them when I was there and there were also lesser ebikes/ skate scooter now as the bridge is divided into two sections due to RTS work~ heard they will reinstate back pretty soon~

Depends where you work or stay. If you work or stay Jurong area 2nd Link at tuas the closest to enter Johor. If your work place or you stay near the mrt brown line is ok you can use the RTS.

About the 1 time clearance is still not finalized yet.

Many Malaysians working in SG don't want to spend more on the transport fare(s) e.g. if they board the yellow bus CW2 at Queen Street then once reached Woodlands Checkpoint after clearing immigration they would still board any CW Yellow Buses to return to JB.

So here again depends where you work or stay, the transportation fare(s) incurred and how you plan to enter JB as quickly as possible.

I didn't see any when I intentionally used the overhead bridge.

Anyway, those going to R&F Mall or those that stay at R&F condos they prefer to walk by the main road to that place because it is faster to reach there or return their home there.

When there are more new outlets for customers to patronize or shop and when they do up plus accessibility of the beach front there.

Anyway, walking from JBCC/City Square which is next to RTS station at JB is not far when you walk by the main road compare when using the overhead bridge. Within 10 to 15 minutes can reach R&F Mall.

End of June 2025 I think, the closed area has the notice. Saw the workers rebuilding the bridge a few weeks back. Should be around there to have the bridge back ba. When I visited, the new pillars for the bridge is already up.
