Too much hype riao, alot of people simply rated it 9 because of that 1 famous kiss scene and its heavily romance focused leads
Honestly, it aint even that bad (much better than 念无双 & 落花时节又逢君 combined), abit slow and draggy in some places but overall still a chill and decent watch but people on MDL need to stop oversimping it lol

New period xianxia drama 临江仙 (Feud) will be released on 6 Jun!

Just looking at the trailers alone, this series has one of the most unattractive visuals I have ever seen for a recent period drama, about as bad as 念无双's. The costumes, makeup, special effects, colours are all bad. Actually looks low-budget. Bai Lu continues to be typecast in such xianxia/romance dramas.
