Sorry I mean ONR, not ONT.

Singtel can't make my ipv6 working, that's why I need to switch to other ISP.

It is anyway a good idea to switch out of Singtel for power users -- ONR is not a good option.

You can go with either M1 or Starhub, both have IPv6.

VQ now offers Static IPv6 now (upon request, free), but it is using CGNAT -- with static IPv4 add-on. So it is an option as well.

SIMBA has IPv6 but using CGNAT, without static IPv4 add-on, that is not a good option to go.

MR and WC do not seem to provide IPv6 at all.

For singtel ZTE ONR, there is no way to enable 6rd IPV6 only.

I believe you do not need to do anything on the Singtel ONR, if you just need 6rd IPv6. You can set it up on your own router (Double NAT). But it seems to me Singtel 6rd is not that stable recently, as per your reports and my own testing. I have disabled 6rd from my secondary virtual OpenWRT router.

No issue with my main OpenWRT router with native Singtel IPv6 (bridged Singtel ZTE F8648P ONR + main virtual OpenWRT router)

My own router ipv6 doesn't work with ZTE ONR.

To enable ipv6 on my own router, singtel need push ipv6 into ONR first.

Once singtel push ipv6 into ONR, it's native ipv6 and never work on my ONR.

My ONR bridging doesn't work, I have tried it many times.

In any case, no point to stay with Singtel...

FYI, Singtel has upgraded ZTE F8648P XGS-PON ONR, so latest version cannot be bridged by the user, must pay S$10 per month if one needs bridging for the newer version of the ZTE F8648P ONR.

Luckily for the users of Nokia XS-240X-A XGS-PON ONR, it is still easy to bridge by the user.

Noticed that there was firmware update waiting on the MySingtel App for the F8648P.

Pushed it to the router and it took about 5 - 6 minutes to update. It's now on the V2.1.10P5N20B firmware.

Quick check on the support login, and it seems that they removed the bridging ports on the Fast Setting page.

so now no more 1GBPS singtel recontract promo anymore? :(

my 1GBPS promo rate just ended :(

How much is your promotion rate?

Now SingTel mainly promote 3Gbps plan or 5Gbps plan.

Depending on the offer, you may get cheaper rate with the 3Gbps or 5Gbps plan compared to your old 1Gbps plan.

If you are using ONT, take note no more ONT recontract, you will get the ONR.

You may also look at offers from Starhub and M1. For example, Starhub 3Gbps plan at S$29.55 with free HB410, or M1 6Gbps ISP switching offer at S$35.90 with free Archer BE805 (only available in M1 Shop). They are of better value than almost all SingTel offers.

Singtel earlier rejected my application for the $29.90 5Gbps via the link provided here. Then they offered me $39.9 for 3Gbps but I managed to pester them to lower to $29.9 and they also throw in free 6 months complimentary subscription singtel tv package. I was paying 35 bucks for my 1Gbps previously. I suppose 3Gbps is suffice given that the HB611 router they provided me with and my MB ethernet are only capable of 2.5Gbps LAN.

My sis wasn’t aware she was having double NAT issue, no wonder her network was unstable and slow. Helped her bridge her ZTE GPON ONR, and now the network is stable and noticeably faster.

After thinking through, I will continue on the undiscounted plan at $46.64/mth!

Dun want to deal with the hassle of hunting for discount when the 3 or 5Gbps plan's discount end and go up to the sky high $80 plus per mth rates

What I see is the wifi router is issue by DHCP.

Does anyone knows if Singtel provide a GPON SFP ONT? Because I am planning to swap Singtel Provider ONR.

No.

With the exception of VQ, bone of the ISPs provide SFP or SFP+ capable ONT or ONR, all use RJ45.

VQ provides an SFP+ XGS-PON ONU from Huawei, for power users.

You have to talk to SingTel as they may be able to provide ONT for replacement. They have the capability to configure ZTE ZXHN F620 ONR in ONT mode.

If not and you do not want to change to ONR, then you may have to switch to other ISPs since SingTel no longer provides recontract for ONT based plans (legacy 500Mbps and 1Gbps plans). I believe your contract should have expired long time ago.
