I'm surprised he bothered to reply the guy. Usually he keeps silent on local politics. He usually just comments on societal issues.

Don't know man. Hard to say. Tang Liang Hong saga had nothing to do with current gen of politicians. And Tommy Koh's fight for minimum wage managed to gain traction with 3G/4G in the form of progressive wage model. I doubt it would have worked with 1G/2G.
