Kenna hit by a delivery guy is bad luck. He can sue us and ask for compensation since the accident could have affected his income.

SINGAPORE – An 88-year-old female pedestrian died on Sept 30 after an accident involving a power-assisted bicycle (PAB) in Hougang the day earlier.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call for assistance at about 7.55am on Sept 29 at Hougang Street 51. The police added that this was in the direction of Hougang Street 91.

The police said the pedestrian was unconscious when she was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital by the SCDF. They added that she later died at the hospital on Sept 30.

A 49-year-old male PAB rider is assisting with investigations, the police said.

A post on Facebook page Singapore roads accident.com on Oct 1 appealed for witnesses. It has garnered more than 40 shares.

Sad case. But monitor lizards being themselves, will continue to ... monitor. One death to a family is probably just a statistics for them.

Sure, I can sue him back and ask for compensation since the accident also affected my income. In the end he sure will pay more

today on way to buy lunch on 1 single pavement... not road, i encountered 7 bicycles 2 pmds, most of them are food deliverers.

none of them stop or slow down to avoid ppl on pavement, its the ppl who auto move out of the way and the bicycles were all buzzing, ringing as the ppl are nuisance and there were elderly ppl, kids, baby stroller on the pavement too.

They are not supposed to be on pedestrian only pavements in the first place, they are only allowed on PCN.

Weak enforcement as always has allowed these clowns to wreak havoc on the roads.

It's getting crowded, some riders just don't give a F about safety...one life was lost while the other back to normal after punishments...

Seems like very narrow pathways where the accident happened.
