also can. in fact should just ban for ebikes. people will be healthy with more bicycling & walking
Think bicycle still ok. But ebike is not much effort one, machine do most of the work. So most riders just chiong and chiong. Bicycle is cannot, really taxing. Can chiong abit on straight road for a moment, but mostly its slow riding. Too taxing to maintain high speed all the time.

Also can guess is probably a food elivery rider.

Their lack of safety and grab/foodpanda's acceptance and enabling of such behaviour is why I have not ordered grabfood for close to 2 years already. Don't want to give business to them and the companies.
They don’t get a ****

that's the prob w/ these pmd riders
always at speed wherever they rode on
rarely at normal pace [to them, what's the point, right?]

so when it comes to any sudden obstruction, be it on object or human kind, they'll very slow to react
until it crashes

See lah,pmd on pavement somemore lah. Useless 4g. 66% voted for more accidents
They are supposed to be on cycling/shared path/road. As for if this guy riding illegally on pavement or not, the article never specify.

Then just ask LTA build bigger pavement. If want PMD then don’t have grass and trees.
This area ALREADY craved out cycling path, on the top picure it's on your left.

INSIDE the pavement so there's already segregation and along the road junctions they can switch to road if needed etc.

If found that e-biker is at fault, he should be punished so severely that it serves as a warning to every biker.

pedestrians sometimes strayed into cycling path, but again if rider speed ain't fast, can brake in time

Already an hour ago I see 2 grab ebike casually speed past red lights. Total disregard of any safety. Vehicle direction red they don’t stop. Pedestrian direction red they also don’t stop.

In this specific case, context and area, there should be no such mixing in the 1st place. This area is not a side by side type of spilt, it's a HDB lobby > cycling path > grass patch > Ped grey path.

There are some intersection just like roads, along these in order for ped to go across with clear markings where it is and how to cross. The cycling path is on elevated ground even.

Not saying ped kanna bang is orbigoot or whatever like that, any accident is never nice. But if demarcated paths is there and still got offenders ( be it ped or cyclist or car drivers ) i think it's on them.

Again the article never specify where so i am not gonna assume the victim is at fault here, it could very well be the E-biker not being on his lane in the 1st place.
