They may not have the intention to murder per se.

But neither do they have the intention to ride safely and prevent harm to others. Until the laws are revised their pattern won't change as what's the worst that the law can do to them?
Many people, not only some PMD riders, do not care about what happened to other people, until it affect themselves.

SINGAPORE – An 88-year-old female pedestrian died on Sept 30 after an accident involving a power-assisted bicycle (PAB) in Hougang the day earlier.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call for assistance at about 7.55am on Sept 29 at Hougang Street 51. The police added that this was in the direction of Hougang Street 91.

The police said the pedestrian was unconscious when she was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital by the SCDF. They added that she later died at the hospital on Sept 30.

A 49-year-old male PAB rider is assisting with investigations, the police said.

A post on Facebook page Singapore roads accident.com on Oct 1 appealed for witnesses. It has garnered more than 40 shares.
Too many irresponsible riders who speed...

They are not supposed to be on pedestrian only pavements in the first place, they are only allowed on PCN.

Weak enforcement as always has allowed these clowns to wreak havoc on the roads.

"Active Mobility" allows motorised vehicles on pedestrian footpaths, contrary to Road Traffic Act.

guess which highly rated minister introduced this? 🤷‍♂️
