me use the amoured version, not sure any tougher. but i install 2

HDB by default have lan port to all room. But devices have to be at DB.


Me only need lan at 1 area so installing at living room is easier

Okay then. Coz I am considering buying a ubiquiti unifi gateway at DB box then Lan to a AP at the room area

This should be idea cause the db is like lan room which use the HDB lan port to other room

New BTOs now provide 6 LAN points, one in the shelter, one in the function room, one in the kitchen, one in the living room, two in the bedroom.

U can keep the ONT in the DB, and use the lan point to the living room to connect to the router to improve wifi coverage.

I did think of that. And That mean when I switch off I have to go 2 location

Every cent save is going to aircon and i prefer to off if not using as me stay lone if there electric fire mean no one to spot it

Only fridge and ac is on, the rest off


My small 2 rm have 3 fire rated door. No scare

But to be frank, if I were to go on holiday say 3 days or more, I will probably do the same as u and turn off all home appliances including fridge and ac for the period.

i cant cause if i do that my ac will need to on and off weekly. fridge need to be empty if i do this

other that those, me always triple check to make sure i off everything.
