Maxx seems to be improving. My home has sporadic 5G signals, usually slow 4G. But these few days seem to be 5G most of the time, and Speedtest ~700Mbps. Haha

i port my maxx plan out to vivifi like 1 month ago, and been using vivifi, defnitely much better than m1 maxx which keep giving me frustration ,

what other plan to try? i got another 3 m1 maxx line, my wife my mum my dad, i want to port them all our to other, i am looking at zym or zero1 also

I think of moving to cmlink. Kind of screwed this Maxx

Was on 7.90 plan and wanted to port to $10 5G... but 2 days too late. I went to change sim today but realised no more 10 dollar plan to changed to... now is to 12 dollar one with 5G. A bit sway.

Don’t wait when you spot a good deal. Similar to $3.3 CL deal. 9 months free ST MVNOs deal etc..

Maxx base plan is still there. But you must use one month of $10 plan first, let it lapse and it will fall to base plan on the second month.

However, be sure to sign up from a retailer and not online. If you sign up online, your plan will be recurring charge and will not fall back to base plan.

Yes, suggest to buy $10 plan with retail shop, save you the hassle to cancel auto CC deduction if get it online.

10min outgoing call, 50SMS and 200mb data monthly. Not forget to mention free incoming calls and SMS. That is actually quite useful compared to parking with Prepaid or using data only plan.

Reason why I'm asking is because I got 1 number that I like which is currently on this base plan, which I'm thinking to port out. Is there a limit to the validity of this base plan before it will be deleted? Cause it's not inserted to any phones right now.

Ignore the window saying "You have no active subscription, purchase a new plan to start using Maxx again". That is merely a default window for Base Plan status. Just check Base Plan window which indicates next reset date.

No, it means it will be valid on 28 Dec 2025 and probably reset for another month, so on and so forth. Your line is active, you are free to port out anytime.

No, it has been free for many months though the terms and conditions indicates otherwise.

that is one reason. another reason is to use it as a burner number to register for new accounts with various business.

Maxx Indeed reinstates the original condition as follows:

"1. Base Plan @ $0 Promotion Discount will be valid till further notice. Refer to the M1 website for the latest update."

It was changed to $5 purchase if no add-on purchase for I think 60days, but actually not implemented. Didn't know when the original $0 condition was reinstated back. A very positive sign that $0 Base Plan will be here to stay.

I seem to have lost IPv6 on Maxx. Happened same time they announced that $10 plan has no more 5G. I'm on the 5G plan but no more IPv6. Can anyone else confirm?
