Just want to double confirm if the following is still true now.

Zym
https://zym.sg/faq/port-in/

You can terminate your plan and port out your number after 2 months, as per our Terms and Conditions (Minimal subscription for a non-contract plan is 2-month).

Just came back from JB, was roaming on ZYM. How come I can’t select other roaming partner? The only option is automatic and auto connect to MY MAXIS, can’t choose digi or anything else also. This is on iPhone 17 Pro with ZYM 5G SA SIM card.
There are 3 celcomDigi network to choose from. You can only log in to one of the CelcomDigi network, another will be end up no signal and another one will be 2g network. Zym only roam on Maxis and one of the CelcomDigi network. Can roam into Umobile but not usable.

hi all, can I check which ISP connection profile do you use?

is it Singtel or Singtel (Postpaid)?
I saw a list of different Singtel profiles but two of them both shows e-ideas for the APN, but for authentication type, one shows CHAP while the other shows PAP.

ZYM website did not update anything, still showing maxis and digi ... lolz
For m,e Maxis is working fine (default partner)
Digi works fine too i remembered i tried before.

Malaysia > Maxis & Digi

because Celcom merge with Digi, thats why when search the network manually you will see 2 CelcomDigi network, 1 is actually celcom another 1 is Digi, so Zym user can only roam into Digi

You are using a 4G or 5G router?

Just try the default will do.

If really can not, try PAP first (better compatibility) then CHAP (better security).

Yes, I remembered I posted the merger when I was using MAXX, having the same issue with connections.

5G router (TP-Link NX200)

there was no option to select 'default' (or 'none') for authentication type ... unless I create a new profile and enter the details manually, then I can leave the authentication type as 'none'

anyway, the reason I'm asking is because the network got cut from the router suddenly at random and I'm not sure why.

I had to change to a different Internet Profile to reactivate the network. so there are two options for e-ideas APN: select 'Singtel (Postpaid)' the authentication type is "PAP" but when I select 'Singtel' the authentication is "CHAP"

also, does it matter whether it's IPv4 or IPv6?

1. For the APN, you may want to try 'Singtel (Postpaid)'+ "PAP".
https://www.singtel.com/personal/support/mobile-postpaid/unable-to-use-local-data

Check to ensure the following is correct
APN name: e-ideas
Password: 65ideas
Mobile%203.1%20327x218%403x.png

2. For IPv6, usually only Singtel 5G SA will support, not 5G NSA. So it is probably better to disable IPv6 for Zym now that 5G SA just started testing and not stable yet.

3. As for stability, it may have to do with signal stability and congestion at your place.

4. If you still encouter issues, I think you may have to ask the support from TP-Link Singapore. You can try your luck with Zym support but I guess Zym people may not help much as your use case is a niche use case.

@keenklee

Please help as well when you get the chance to look at your TP-Link Deco X50-5G settings for the APN and Authentification type for your Singtel heya (now Singtel hi! 4G postpaid plan). Thanks.

repost from fb

Dear customers, please be advised that SIM activations via the ZYM Mobile app will be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled Myinfo maintenance on 30 December from 10 PM to 11 PM (SGT), though all other mobile services will remain fully operational. Thank you for your understanding.

thanks both. I'm beginning to wonder is it because I use the Tether app to 'force' the internet connection to '5G Only' instead of '5G Preferred' and like you shared, 5G is probably not stable for Zym at the moment...

I'll just reset everything as default for now.
