Is their advertised 7200 mbps max bandwidth for Wifi accurate? If so that D Link router while not being able to hit 10 gbps, would at least be considered decent? I think
@keenklee is using this router correct? Perhaps he could confirm the wifi performance.
IMHO.
If it is the DPN-BE7212GR then it is the one I am using.
This a dual-band Wifi 7 router i.e. no 6 Ghz. Un-optimised wifi 7, I can reach 14xx / 11xx Mbps at about 2m.
If supports MLO.
On 10Gbe performance, I have not install 10Gbe PCI NIC yet thus not able to see the full speed.
I have a setup running 5Gbe USB ( about 47xx Mbps up/down) and 10Gbe USB ( about 6xxx Mbps up/down ).
IIRC when I run both together, combined should exceed 8xxx Mbps.
P.S. This router cost < $200 so must adjust expectation accordingly mah. Also, I got but yet to install TPLINK BE65 Pro 3 nodes. Single fast router is useless to me as I am on wired 10Gbe.
