the thing with eczema is that certain remedy works for some people, but not others. so it is good to share remedies that work for oneself

Yup agree. We should share the remedies. Afterall, the intention is to help people relief their pain.

By the way, if there are any psoriasis patients around who needs help do feel free to ask me. Alittle background on myself, i had been with NSC for 13 years but sadly they cannot do anything but sending me for the UV treatment which has risk to get skin cancer until i finally found out the cause and kept my psoriasis in good control which my skin is like i am as normal as others for the past 3 years without going for UV or those heavy topical treatments.

Hives

hi all

read thru some of the pages here trying to find the difference between enzema and hives...

i initiall thought they are the same, but after reading some of the pages, i realised they are not.

question: Is Dr Loke good at treating hives too, on top of enzema?
Other than Dr Loke, any other good recommendations for hives?

Firstly, you need to really understand about what causes psoriasis.
your diet habits and lifestyles is the key factor. Wondering if you are ok share about it or you can PM me about it.

Nope problem sharing.
I firmly believe is the stress that trigger the psoriasis. My work can be stressful. As for diet, I eat everything, don't have any particular like or don't; except I don't take seafood.
Not sure it's detail is good for u?

Personally, I also take everything last time because my doc told me it's ok but it only got worst and worse still I need to go for uv light treatment. Initially the uv was effective but it's only temporary. It rebounds and too much uv may leads to skin cancer. So I decided to my own research.

I switch my diet to pure veget and fruits, new spots cease to appear but still very bad with the existing ones. I turned to supplements like tumeric and combination of exercise. The spot starts to reduce until I met my friend. He advised me to slim down as my visceral fats is very high and that's actually cause the toxin in our livers to increase and reduce our ability to purify normally. It's importan to know the cause. basically psoriasis is caused by our own immune system sending the wrong signal to attack our skin causing immflammation to occur.

I am kind of disappointed with the response from the doctor, telling me that food is not the cause and i can eat anything which is not entirely right. Fried food causes imflammation and should be avoided for all psoriasis patient.

Stress also contributes to the worsening of psoriasis, one way to destress is to exercise, go do some jogging or sports which is of your interest will reduce the stress level.

I agree, I take 80% veg and 20% meat and very little red meat.
Actually I had a turned ard previous year and reduced my psoriasis to only my 2 legs but unfortunately for 1 year I just can't eliminate my leg. :(

I tired NSC long back and it just used UV and steroid cream and it make my skin very very thin :( Anyway that's the past now only left the leg that I need a break thru' :p

Dieting was very difficult but now my dieting is not as strict as previous I guess I will hv to continue my diet.

Next is the stress, as long as I'm in my current job that's can't be help unless I quit :D

Yours are spot but my is patches so could be more serious than yours, what abt the supplement u refer?

Thx
