ya.. anyone know how to edit/save the picture in pc ? i tried to rotate the picture & save also cannot...

have you tried dismounting the MSD card and copy/paste into PC? it's in the DCIM folder, under Camera

.... or if you have already installed Kies, plug phone using the supplied USB cable, after successful detection you will see your MSD card storage at "Basic Information" tab, click on "View in Explorer", double-click "DCIM" folder followed by "Camera", choose and right click "edit" your pic....

it will open with your default Paint s/w, choose "save as" to copy to PC

Hi all, I just got the fone yestd n realised it can't play 720p mp4 movies.

I called Samsung and they say Ace can only support mp4 H.264 & H.263 and 3GP files only. So my questions are

1. Any player in Market App that I can install which can play 720p mp4 movies? Tried moboplayer, mVideoPlayer & RealPlayer Beta already, still can't.

2. Or is it becos Ace display size is 320 x 480 pixels, so can't play 720p?

omg...u made a really bad choice....this phone really SUCKS at multimedia and gaming...can't watch online video....can't play good quality games.....i regret getting this phone and should have stick with iPhone4...then again it's a cheap phone with cheap standard and quality...live with it loh

1) Low end phone, slow processor, don't expect too much.

2) Nothing to do with screen resolution.

Battery life is terrible for the ACE as reported in other forums. Lasting only a day with average use. Wifi off, brightness at lowest.

The galaxy sl is a good value for money buy with a nice perfectly-sized screen. If u r looking for just a basic android phone, u may want to look at the lg optimus one instead which has got gd reviews n is at least $100 cheaper (only $312 at mustafa). Was reported that the optimus will be getting 2.3 while imo this is highly unlikely for the Ace

Fyi, u can compare the 2 samsung phones at vivo - i found that my ip cam displayed better on the sl. Also connected to my bluetooth gps easier while needing a few tries on the ace. Ultimately, it was the size of the screen that clinched it for me. 4" is the minimum for comfortable web browsing. All depends on yr intended usage. In my case, i have a separate nokia for voice calls n sms n just use the sl for gps, multimedia n web so screen size is imp

it's not unique to ace, many other samsung models have the same error...will google and find out myself

in my case, i was looking at recontract prices and the SL was only $150 more. Also, the discount on the SL vs the market price is larger than for the Ace.

As for the Galaxy S, i think it is way over-priced merely bec of the super-amoled screen. For just a little more, you can now get the dual-core LG Optimus 2X.
