Yup, recd the demand letter frm connection tours. You don't hv to go down to CASE, I hv already called them just now. Their advise is ignore this letter frm connection tours as u didnt sign anything w them. Just wait for ur refund as per agreement in the termination letter. If they dont pay by then, then u go down to small claims tribunal to report.

Did U give CCS a letter to terminate the agreement within the cooling off period. We were advised by CASE to send them a registered letter of termination. We did that, and we even gave them the same letter personally.

CASE has certainly evolved now... unlike back then in 2005 when I approached CASE to lodge a complaint about LGM, I was asked to sign up as a member first... I was disappointed with them as they couldn't do anything except to write to LGM for a refund on my behalf; and when the latter did not reply, CASE did not follow up and I had to tell them to do so twice but to no avail... the case was eventually dropped at CASE's request after a year.

Alertliz,

I did got my deposit refund back a week ago. But these bloodsuckers is hell bent on getting my hardearned $$.
Now that I did not participate in the contract termination scam by CCS, their crime partner next door (Connection Tours) is now coming after me on the CVC membership subscription fee. They claim they are the official travel agent of CVC, and is authorised to collect subscription fees from members.

I believe you said you received the same letter of demand on the subcription fee right ?

FYI

Here is an email confirmation from CVC to a member who had seek my advice in another forum:

"Dear Member,

You have a perpetuity membership but your annual subscriptions were prepaid
for one year only so you do not have access to the benefits of membership.
To access the benefits you need to pay your annual subscription fee.

Concepts Club Services has NOTHING to do with CVC and we recommend you do
not have any dealings with them whatsoever.

Kind Regards,

CVC Membership Services
"

The contents of which did not state that the annual subscription fee is compulsory. However, failure to pay will result in no access to membership benefits.

Would like to alert Concepts Vacation Club (CVC) Members to exercise caution when dealing with these 3 companies:

1. Concepts Club Services Pte Ltd @ POMO Building
  • claimed to be the authorised service centre for CVC, including collection of maintenance fees from CVC Members
  • company's logo looks like CVC
  • has old documents from the defunct LGM Singapore Branch

2. Connection Tours & Travel @ Orchard Towers
  • according to CVC's website, this company is the corporate office in Singapore
  • claimed to be servicing CVC Members too and said that Concepts Club Services Pte Ltd is related to CVC

3. Dynamikz Netwerkz @ Orchard Towers
  • Connection Tours & Travel uses this company's letterhead and rubber stamp in the documentation for a timeshare-related transaction

NOTE:

1. Concepts Club Services Pte Ltd and Connection Tours & Travel have a business relationship;

2. CVC Membership Services has however confirmed that CVC does not have any relationship with Concepts Club Services Pte Ltd;

3. To date, CVC Membership Services has not verified the information provided in CVC's website stating that Connection Tours & Travel is CVC's corporate office in Singapore.

Chomot,

One scammer from Connections accusing i-generic of scamming?
Ever heard of the term pot calling the kettle black?

BTW, just curious, would you mind sharing details on what "services" Connections provided you??

A good Samaritan, can we block THOR and CHOMOT from this forum???

Lucky for them as hardwarezone.com.sg forums do not have moderators... else they would have long been blacklisted.
