I do not agree for the repair, i asked for 1-to-1 exchange, end up they refuse the 1-to-1 exchange and decide to give me a full refund. However, its been a week since they reply to me through teleconversation that they will proceed with my full refund. The thing is how long will they take to process my refund?
At least there is a satisfactory conclusion. Record in black and white with an email and get on with another purchase.

That's why I said record the conversation in black and white, quoting the phone conversation time and date, and the name of the person you spoke to, in the email to them.

The problem is they do not even bother to reply my email. Now i am depending the sales guy from Gain City to liaise with them. So far they are doing a good job.

If they don't reply, it means they are not disputing what you have written.

What to do?
Tell them you are going to the Small Claims Tribunals. Invoke the lemon law after a reasonable time, say 1 to 2 months, if they don't do as promised. You can ask Case to assist, or go to Small Claims Tribunals on you own, no lawyers are allowed. For convenience you can even download the claim form online.

Full details and explanations here>> The Subordinate Courts of Singapore - Lodging a Claim

The information are user friendly (written for laymen). From what I understood from the details, your purchase involved less than $20,000. The Tribunal has powers to hear your claim. You only need to pay $10 claim fees since you are claiming less than $5000, plus time spent in preparing and attending the court case.

Hi guys, I have a problem with my Samsung 6700 55 inch. There are suppose to be 3 hdmi port but my hdmi cable can only pluck into the middle one.
In the manual, it is stated that this is hdmi 2 the ARC port. However when I on my TV and select source, the tv display says I am connected to hdmi 3 instead.
What is the problem?
Also, does anyone of you able to connect to the other 2 hdmi port, seems like it is too small.

Long shot... may want to try using a new HDMI cable...?

Coz ARC was introduced in the HDMI 1.4 specs - but by right, any reasonably good quality HDMI cable should suffice.

Any owners of 55es7500 series tv, can tell me how many alphanumeric characters are there for the serial number?

Mine only has 14 on the box. Problem occurs when i am registering for warranty online. It only accepts 15 character?

Anyone encounter this issue?

The box has 14 char. There is an additional char ON the back of the TV. You need that 15th char to register. Been there done that. Ha :D

Recently bought UA46ES6700 from Gain City, TV delivered on 03/11/2012, wall mounted to be carried out by Samsung Installer on the same day but wait until 5pm they never turn up, called to check with Samsung, they left out my installation schedule, They reschedule my appointment on 10/11/2012. TV remained in box till 10/11/2012.

On 10/11/2012, Samsung Installer came to do the wall mount + mounting the TV on the wall and configure the TV for me, only left out the Internet wireless configuration as my internet is not ready. 5 days later, I got my internet activated and my wireless router up. I got my macbook and smart phone connected to the wireless router. I tried to configure my TV to connect to my router through wireless but unable to, the TV could not detect any wireless access point. I put my smart phone beside my TV and it can pick up at least 10 wireless access points. The TV could not detect any wireless access point, even i manually key in the access point it also could not connect to it. Tried for 3 days still unable to establish the wireless configuration.

End up calling Samsung helpdesk, kudos for their service, they send their technical engineer down to check my tv. After 5 mins of trying, they conclude my TV wireless is faulty. They ask me to call Gain City to feedback their finding to them to see if they can give me a one-to-one exchange since it is only less than 2 weeks of usage. I called Gain City and they respond by feedback this issue to Samsung Sales department. After ding dong for more than 2 weeks, Gain City staff called me to inform that Samsung refuse to give me a one-to-one exchange as the product has passed the 7 days of usage, now they only offer to do a repair. Worst thing, after the day technical engineer inspect the TV, the TV auto switch on by itself for 2 occasions and now i could not even manually key in the wireless access point. Sian.

Moral of the story. Explore the TV as much as you can within the 7 days, test your internet, test your 3D function... etc. Well, serve me right...
Hi

I faced same problem. They refuse to exchange to new tv. But the good thing is they gave me the refund (Full). So better get the refund and buy another tv. :)

My new Samsung UA60D6600 tv spoilt again.

History of my tv:

Feb '13 - purchased
Mar '13 - spoilt - auto off and on & off & on - repaired by changing main board.
21 May '13 - spoilt again - same problem.

Lucky i still have an old faithful: >15yr panasonic 14" CRT.

Today they will come & repair. Hv to take 1/2d leave to entertain this unnecessary problem - 1 time is fate, 2 time is fate, if it happens the 3rd time, there is a serious problem with the design.

After they change the main board, i hv to do tonnes of setting - new MAC id, etc. :(

My old TVs nvr need repair. They jusr RIP or sold for a token sum due to my upgrading.
