hi guys.. can you view this chart and advise?

is this chart showing a double bottom and is it safe to say that if it crosses the resistance of 1.175, there is a chance of breaking thru and huat upwards?

and if it doesn't cross 1.175, it will also form a double top.. so does it mean the the double bottom effect is overwritten?

vested!! :)

for both double top and double bottom, you need the prior trend to be bull and bear respectively....

FEHT trading too short to tell... but can it's best to consider it as sideways trading between the channel...

how abt views on M1?

considering its smaller market share, it should not trade at a lower dividend yield than starhub or singtel.

in short, you can may consider buying in small quantities those stocks that have been consistently and religously paying out dividends year in and year out. thats why stocks like STE, SIAE, Starhub, Reits, SATS, etc are going up. any fall in price is a buying opportunity!

There is a very good chance Starhub will continue to rise and STX will continue to fall.

My fair price for Starhub is for it to trade at 4% dividend yield. That means, it may rise to $5.

Probably, but at that kind of prices for starhub people are buying now, are just thinking that starhub price will continue climb

It's the same scenario as gold

STX falling for short term or even medium term just means I'm able to buy it at a cheaper discount

If you take a look at cyclical counters particularly O&G, I view them as cheap as long the global economy continues to recovery and monetary easing expands and continues. The global economy is not sky rocketing but is growing little moderately which also contains inflation, central banks got every reason to aggressively expand even further especially the US

Starhub will not go up in a straight line. How can you compare with gold? :s22:

Can you draw similarities of STX OSV with Ezra, Swiber, KS Energy, Mermaid? All of them used to be market darlings at some point of time until they came crashing down and can never recover to their hey days again. Just check the earnings per share of Swiber and Ezra for the past 5 years. Revenue and EPS are going opposite way. Oh yes they are cheap (compared to STX OSV) now. Trading at < 1x NAV. I think the next one to burst will be Ezion.

For O&G, only 2 brands that are worth looking at. They are Keppel and Sembmarine.

PS: I may be wrong with my views.
