Static IP stopped working about 30 minutes ago

My ID C1007217

1. Have been using Static IP with no issue for > 1 month
2. Static IP stopped working 30 minutes ago. I tried to reboot fiber modem and router but problem not solved
3. Temporary workaround is to switch to Dynamic IP.

Meanwhile, can MR support help to troubleshoot my static IP? Thanks

Out of curiosity, does MR intend to introduce 24x7 tech support hotline by 3Q, this year?

Hmm, stock router RT-N15U? If so that's a decent speed to be getting on 2.4GHz as there are many factors to consider when testing for speed - since 2.4GHz is usually quite crowded nowadays. You may want to check the following table for more information:

hi Bolts

if i like to upgrade my router to either n56u or n66u router, is it plug and play or you need your engineers to come down to configure? Thanks...

for basic plans, MR seems cheaper than viewquest and SuperInternet.

Is it right?

Hey keanteac,

Yeap we have our own Home Voice service, unfortunately we are still looking into offering number porting / number retention. Currently it's a $49 one time charge and free until December 2013, and $2.88 per month thereafter. First 1000 minutes local free, $0.02 per minute thereafter :)

Bolts

Hey bolt. The VOIP device for your home voice service must plug into the router to work or can directly plug into ONT?

Hi all,

as MyRepublic grows we would like to invest more in our outreach channels to get more people manning our social media channels.

I would like to introduce our new staff, Johnnnny or in real life known as Jonathan who is our new coordinator and an extra pair of hands to help gather feedback, channel customer requests and help out in general online.

If you need anything feel free to contact him.

So in general,

Lawzer - Customer feedback and tricky issues
Johnnny - Customer feedback and tricky issues
nivleK1985 - Technical and customer day to day requirements
Boltersdriveer - Technical and customer day to day requirements

Cheers
Lawrence

Hi, can this be made into a sticky else will just get lost in the thread...

Yeap, plug and play if you have no static IP, just some setting up of wireless which is rather easy via the webui :)
